Overview

When she left her small hometown, Judy planned to prove that she was more than capable of making it on her own without anyone bossing her around. Months later, she isn’t sure whether living in a run-down motel and earning her living serving cocktails while constantly striving to avoid the groping hands of drunken casino patrons counts as making it on her own. Nonetheless, when her brother’s best friend Daniel—a childhood crush of hers—shows up in Las Vegas hoping to bring her home, she is too proud to agree.

Then, suddenly, her world is thrown into chaos when she witnesses a violent crime, and Judy finds herself under federal witness protection. Living in hiding chafes at Judy, however, and when the circumstances all but force her to rush into a marriage with Daniel, she does her best to make his life miserable… until she pushes him too far. To her dismay, Judy soon learns that her new husband is fully prepared to bare her bottom and chastise her firmly when she makes it necessary.

In spite of their less than ideal circumstances and his firm discipline, Judy cannot help but grow closer to Daniel as the weeks pass and she discovers that the same man who spanks her soundly when she behaves like a naughty girl is also more than ready to hold her in his arms to comfort her when she wakes up in the night. Still, she wonders how long they can live in fear for their lives. Will trying circumstances tear the young couple apart, or will their love prove strong enough to endure whatever they face?

Publisher’s Note: His Naughty Bride contains both consensual and non-consensual spankings of an adult woman, including domestic discipline in a 1950s setting. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

I enjoyed reading His Naughty Bride a great deal. Once I started

I enjoyed reading His Naughty Bride a great deal. Once I started reading this story didn't want to stop reading until I had finished the story. I liked that the spankings were part of the story and made sense to the story. This is a well written and interesting story set in 1952. There is murder and suspense as well as love and discipline. The main characters of Judy and Daniel are realistic and well developed. You really care about them as the story progresses. Judy and Daniel, who were childhood friends, were forced to get married so that they could live together under the protection of a Marshall, as they waited for Judy to testify against a Mafia don. Judy makes it very difficult for Daniel to keep her safe and protected. This is where the discipline comes into the story. If you enjoy a domestic discipline period story that is also suspenseful you should read His Naughty Bride. *An Advanced Reader Copy of this book was provided to me by the publisher.
