Overview

Idealistic wedding consultant Lillie Parker is determined not to settle for less than a perfect marriage. But when her younger brother phones from college to say he's engaged, Lillie must convince the bride's cynical brother that love is everything. Luke Morgan is sexy as sin. He's also the kind of man who gives testosterone a bad name....and Luke doesn't believe in love.

Luke makes no secret that he thinks Scott and Melanie are too young to marry, particularly since she still has years of medical school ahead of her.
Worse, the bride's only brother distrusts romance and love, preferring a more practical, commonsense approach to marriage. He swore off love years ago when his fiancee dumped him. Not only that, but his mother abandoned the family because she'd "fallen in love" with another man. Neither Melanie nor Luke have spoken to their mother in ten years.

Hoping Lillie will sway Luke, Melanie begs Lillie to plan the wedding with her brother while she and Scott return to their out-of-town college. But working together on the wedding Luke doesn't want brings him closer to his match than he thought it would.
