Meet the Author

Roxanne started writing stories during eighth grade algebra class to escape x. She didn't know what x equaled. She didn't believe x actually equaled anything. Letters belong in words and words belong in sentences and sentences belong in the most magnificent place of all...books.

Books have been her passion since she galloped through Black Beauty at nine, breezed through Gone with the Wind at 11, soared with The Moonspinners at 13, and then wallowed in the Valley of the Dolls right around the time her braces came off and she discovered...boys.

Although she reads anything and everything—including four newspapers a day—Roxanne has never left the comfort of romance novels for very long. While attending UCLA, she worked at a Los Angeles TV station where the news producer convinced her to legally change her last name from Zink to St. Claire so he could do a segment on how to change your name, complete with cameras in the courtroom when the decree was pronounced official. Only in L.A.!

After graduating with a degree in mass communications, Roxanne appeared on the sitcoms Laverne & Shirley and Bosom Buddies and hosted a talk show called Between the Piers. Since it soon became evident she didn't have a future as Loni Anderson or Jane Pauley, she took her glamorous, legal name into the world of public relations and immediately found her niche. By day she promoted products and people, but at night...she still read and scribbled tales of love and adventure.

For the next 18 years as an executive with the world's largest PR firm, Roxanne's exposure to a wide range of businesses, clients andcrisis situations fed her imagination with characters and storylines. During that time, she wrote lengthy business proposals, press kits and speeches for CEOs. When she would finish a particularly stirring marketing strategy, she would sigh and think...what a waste. I should be writing romance novels. Her need to touch a reader's emotions was evident when she once sent a product rollout plan to a client with a cover note that read: "Read it and weep."

In 1999 she wrote her first manuscript and seriously began the pursuit of publication in early 2000. Two years later, she sold her first single title romantic suspense novel, and today Roxanne writes full-time. Having experienced every aspect of big-city life in Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, Boston and Miami, Roxanne is happily settled in a quiet beachfront community in Florida with her husband and two children. When not writing, she is a hard-working mother of two elementary school-age children who, unfortunately, will soon be starting algebra.

You can write to her at P.O. Box 372909, Satellite Beach, Florida, 32937.

    Very good

    ## This was a really good book. The dialogue was fun and flirty. I really liked the heroine. She was fun and really honest. My favorite thing about it though, was that the couple had some good times together. So many stories have the h/h constantly fighting that it is hard to imagine them falling in love. There is one part i didn't like (hence the 4 stars instead of five), however that would give away too much. Still worth reading.

His Style of Seduction (Desire Series #1841)

I don't read category romance, nor do I intend to read more. But I'm a fan of the bullet catcher series and since I've read everything by this author(all fantastic) I decided to give this book a try. The only reason I'm writing this review is because this book was so much fun from beginning to end. Jack is St. Claire's best kind of hero - sexy, of course, a bit of a rebel, a smart mouth and (she always does this so perfectly) really soft on the inside. I loved him! This story (ignore the cover) is an outstanding romance that is a 'pygmallion' story with a real twist.

A Romantic and Magical Love Story

Roxanne St. Claire has an absolute winner with His Style of Seduction. It¿s magical and just time for the holiday season. I can¿t remember when I can honestly say I¿ve read such a romantic book and that¿s probably due to Jackson Locke, the main character who is not only drop dead gorgeous but he¿s funny, sexy and most of all extremely ROMANTIC.----- If you read St. Claire¿s Sins of His Past, you were introduced to the non-conformist Jackson Locke. Jack is the creative director for an ad agency and marches to own drum. He¿s very casual in his appearance, not like the regular ad exec, he¿s very good at what he does and is highly respected in his field. Jack doesn¿t have a clue what his mentor, friend and boss is up to when he¿s called to Nantucket for a meeting with his boss. To his surprise he answers the door to a beautiful woman Lily Harper who has also been invited to the meeting. Little does Jack know that Lily is there to do a complete executive makeover on Jack, to groom him for the presidency of Wild Marketing. To say the least, Lily will have her hands full, taking on Jackson Locke!----- Immediately, there is chemistry between Jackson and Lily, the sensual tension in this book leaps off the pages and you will absolutely fall in love with Jackson Locke and learn to respect the lovely, Lily, especially when you learn of her secret past. For Lily, this exec makeover, if successful, would probably land her more business which for her would mean stability, not having to worry about finances and afford her the opportunity to put down roots and buying a home, something she has been working towards for years.----- His Style of Seduction is beautiful, magical and will touch your soul as again Roxanne St.Claire delivers to her readers a moving love story and their journey in self discovery and finding happiness.-----

His Style of Seduction (Desire Series #1841)

What an absolutely enjoyable, emotional, wonderful romance. The hero is funny and tender, the heroine is sharp and flawed, and the story moves as fast as lightning. I loved this book.

    A reviewer

Roxanne St. Claire always promises a sexy, fun and satisfying read, and she delivers on that promise in HIS STYLE OF SEDUCTION. When Lily Harper meets Jackson Locke, her first impression is that the man taxes every ounce of self-possession she owns. (And with shoulder-length hair like tangled honey and eyes the color of freshly mowed grass, he more than taxed mine. Ooooh, baby.) Stir in Jack¿s devil-may-care streak and a deep-seated distrust of anything that looks, feels or even smells like an anchor, and Lily knows her task of transforming the ad agency¿s creative director into an acceptable corporate president has just hit a major snag. But Jack brokers a deal with the raven-haired owner of a swimsuit model¿s lethal curves. He¿ll submit willingly to Lily¿s transformation during the day¿as long as he¿s in charge of her makeover at night. It is a win-win situation for everyone¿until love enters the race and turns their Pygmalion story into something more serious than fun and games.
