Overview

From author Opal Carew comes the first sizzling segment in the erotic serial novel His to Command that explores one woman's surrender to desire at the hands of a dominant billionaire.

Her heart, her body, her soul—are his to command.

Kate is a modern business woman who knows exactly how to run her well organized world.  But underneath her professional exterior lurks a secret she's been running from for years—a fierce desire to be dominated that both exhilarates and terrifies her—and the one man who's ever tempted her to lose control.

Powerful executive Matt Pearce was the first and only man to give Kate a taste of what it means to surrender completely at the hands of a dominant man, and she's never been able to forget. But though she's spent years trying to outrun her feelings for him, a chance encounter changes everything… and this time she may not be able to escape.

Don't miss the other scintillating installments of the erotic serial novel His to Command: The Capture (Part 2), The Revelation (Part 3), The Arrangement (Part 4), The Submission (Part 5), and The Surrender (Part 6) available January 2013!

    what a disappointment

couldn't wait for a new Opel Crew book wasnt worth the wait or the money. it should have all been 1 big book rather than the several small books. This one was 33pages. Consider it chapter 1.

Always a fan of Opal Carew, I was happy to see a new release from her. And I have to say, I think she's gotten off to another great start! Kate is likable and very real (and not some wilting, passive, virginal violet), and I can already tell I'm going to be drooling over Matt in the chapters to come. Definitely very sexy! I know some of the other reviews have been negative about the format, but I really don't mind. It's clearly advertised as a "serial novel" so for about $2.00, I felt I got my money's worth. Can’t wait to read the rest!

I liked this book, although the multi-part format takes a little getting used to. The writing is up to Opal Carew's usual high standard, especially the love scene. Yes, there is only one, but it is excellent, and from previous experience reading Opal Carew, I expect the new format is forcing her to start slow and build up. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the book!

Wow! I have found my latest book obsession! Kate and Matt Pier

Wow! I have found my latest book obsession! Kate and Matt Pierce are combustable together--and their story is a real page clicker. This is the first installment and I promise, you will be glued to your reader until you read the last word and then desperately hungry to read the next one (that's how I felt anyway). This story is very similar to 50 Shades but with a more seasoned, mature woman at the center of it, which I appreciated. And the guy is like a slightly older Christian Grey without the red hair. I can't wait to read the next part and fall deeper into their story!

I was totally engrossed by this book!  As always, Opal Carew's writing is full of drama and sexy tension!  I like the build up of the serial format and can't wait to dive into the other books!  I think Opal  puts her own interesting spin on the new 50 Shades sub-genre that has sprung up and her voice is infinitely passionate and compelling.

    Unoriginal

I wont even bother buying this series. Just from reading the summaries it appears that this is a rip off of 50 Shades. Also I dont know who in their right mind would spend $2 on a short story. The series should be one book or free short stories.

I was very dissapointed in this short story. To me, it wasnt worth the 2 dollars or my time. I have actual books that are any where from 900 to 1200 pages that were only .99 cents that kept you intrigued till the last page. All six books should be just one and a lot more added to it. I believe most of her books are very short stories not worth the money wasted on it.

    Go buy a whole book.

25 pages of actual story, $2.00. What's the return policy for e-books? Not a bad start, but not $2.00 worth.

    Where's the rest?

This has potential to be a good book but I was very disappointed when it ended after only 20 something pages!!! The way I see it is this not 6 series...it is 6 chapters! It is unfortunate because it seems to be a good story but I will not be buying the others!!

    No way

    ## Are you freaking kidding me? Another partial book? $2 for 30 pages is rediculous. On principle I will no longer be buying books by this author.
