"Even if a man has entered a field against the will of the owner he takes possession of his spoils." -Alberico Gentili, Hispanicae Advocationis Libri Duo (1921) Hispanicae Advocationis Libri Duo, Volume I (1921) by Alberico Gentili was originally published in Latin in 1613 posthumously at his request.
