More About This Book

Overview

Sidra will do whatever it takes to find her target. Even if it means pairing up with an operative who has more secrets than she does.

Sidra is tough, street-smart and independent. And she's living a double life. As an agent for Triad, she follows orders and gets the job done. But as Norah Rainwater's surrogate daughter, she'll do whatever it takes--even defy Triad--to find Norah's missing daughter and save Norah's life.

She plans for every eventuality...except Gideon, who lives a triple life beyond Sidra's wildest suspicions. Sidra knows him as a charming playboy more intent on conquering women than saving the world. But he's more than that. Under another identity, he fights to destroy the five men who lead the criminal organization called the Alliance--the same men who murdered his father for trying to leave the group.

With Norah near death, Sidra can't let anything get in her way. Not even Gideon, who reminds her so much of Ranger, the only man she has ever loved. But Gideon can't let Sidra reach her goal without crushing any chance he has of reaching his.

Hit me with your best Shot (Cassiel Knight)

Hit Me with Your Best Shot (Cassiel Knight) Set in the future the year is 2285 and Constable Sidra Elvestri is on a mission to save children that have been kidnapped by the Black Dealers. The children are used as slaves. Against her wishes, she is partnered up with a man named Kar. She is used to holding her own, and does a great job at that. Sidras' parents died when she was six years old, her mentor and mother-figure Norah has heart problems and a rare blood type and will die soon without surgery. Norahs daughter Fallon was kidnapped years ago and Sidra sets off to find her and save Norahs life and free Fallon and the other children from slavery. She faces many obstacles along the way, one being a man named Gideon who holds many secrets. He reminders her so much of the one man she truly loved Ranger. What secrets does Gideon hold? Will she get over Ranger? And finally will she succeed in her rescue mission? Fast paced page turner, with danger, suspense and a bit of romance. I feel fantasy lovers will enjoy Hit Me with Your Best Shot. I read Key of Solomon (Relic Defender) by Cassiel Knight and really enjoyed it. I look forward to reading Blood On The Moon. I am quickly becoming a big fan of Ms. Knight.
