Staid professor Lissy McIntyre believes that choosing a mate should be based on common sense, not runaway passion. And she would certainly never pick a rolling stone like Nick Richards for long-term love. But a red-hot, tropical romance? Oh, yeah. He’s got a body just made for sinning and his sizzling kisses leave her senseless.
When Nick blows into town, he’s stunned to discover that his no-nonsense new neighbor and co-worker is the same sultry creature he seduced for one night of forbidden island pleasure. He’s unaccustomed to staying in one place for long, but he just can’t seem to keep his hands off the multi-faceted woman. Will Nick break loyal Lissy’s heart or will she be the one woman he simply can’t walk away from?

I loved University and always wanted to become a professor. The storyline of this novel played into those dreams right from the start. Two young, attractive and intelligent people have a chance meeting. They spend a glorious night together and things are left up in the air. The chemistry is hot but both have trust issues for two different reasons. When Lissy and Nick meet you can feel the electricity between them jump right off the page. Neither one knows what to do with the heat they have and both fight it from beginning to end.
Holiday Affair was a super quick read that left me wanting more from this author. Nick the super hunky hero of the story comes from a huge family that is full of life and laughter. Lissy is an only child primary raised by her grandfather. The allure of his family is strong for Lissy. Will these two find love by letting go of their trust issues and huge walls? You need to read to find out!

What a great read and worth the five stars!! It keeps you guessing will they or won't they.....which is why I highly recommend this read
Brilliant
Holiday Affair by Annie Seaton
This is the first book I’ve read by Annie Seaton and I do have to say she is one damn great author. Her descriptions made me want to go on a holiday on a sail boat and find my own sailor. Annie writing is good the story flows extremely well and I have to say I really enjoyed Holiday Affair.
We meet Lissy McIntyre who has just lost her grandfather and has decided to take a vacation on the open sea. During her trip she meets Nick who she assumes is some sexy sailor/drifter and she ends up having a fling with him. Knowing she will never lay eyes on him again. The chemistry between Nick and Lissy is great and you know reading this that somehow their paths will cross again. Fate works in mysterious ways!!
Back at home the new history teacher slash neighbour is none other the Dr. Dominic Richards aka Nick.
Well let’s say this does not go over smoothly at first and the chemistry is off the charts. Can two people who won’t admit they want each other find their happy ever after? This is a must read if you enjoy a funny, sexy romance novel this is the one to purchase. I have rated Holiday Affair a 4 star rating and would recommend all my friends/followers who enjoy romance novels to go out and grab yourself a copy I loved it.

The storyline was not bad but so many things were under-developed. I never felt a strong connection to the characters and the development of their attraction to one another. I felt like the situations moved very quickly from one thing to the next and never gave me a chance to get immersed in what was happening or what the characters were feeling. Even the sensual scenes were very clipped. I had a tough time finishing the story.

What happens when one wild tryst moves in next door? Lissy never thought she would see much less have to deal with Nick again… little did she know. Guess who the new History professor is? Yep, fate was having a little fun wit the normally stuffy Lissy.
Watching as Lissy and nick find their way towards a HEA, via lovers then enemies, you are drawn into their electric chemistry and funny moments. I loved the vivid writing and character development.
A total player and a stuffy professor … In this truly sweet romance, full of emotion and a double lack of faith in love, you are taken on a wonderful journey. A cool glass of tea or a hot cocoa and a cuddly blanket are a must for reading Holiday Affair by Annie Seaton!

"Holiday Affair" by Annie Seaton was a very enjoyable romance read. There are a lot of twist and turns and fast-paced that I couldn't put this novel down until the end.
The characters were very real... some I liked and some well...I will let you read andjudge. The heroine... Lissy McIntyre ...bless her heart...had just loss your gramps and she is hurting.... so she takes a holiday of sorts...and meets this beautiful looking, but all into himself...Nick Richards.... and this story picks up from there....rocky and stormy...chemistry...yes! Now, will these two be able to get all their emotions and commitment issues together?...Now this is the time I will say you must pick up the good novel of "Holiday Affair" and see how this story turn out. After a tragedy comes... will Lissy and Nick be able to make decisions that will determine their future?...Will there be a 'Happy Ever After?'
I thought the story line was very well written, full of emotions, sweet and sexy read.I even liked the cover of this novel...WoW!
If you are in for a good romantic read....pick up "Holiday Affair and be ready for a good read. I would definitely recommend "Holiday Affair."

Not enough character development. I was very disappointed with the love scenes. This book was really way too short. Hopefully this was her first book. Lots of improvement to be had with character development.

Sophomoric at best. Not even going to finish it. I stopped reading at "...a cacophony of noise...". Seriously?
