An animal lover since childhood, Bessie Mac made the life-changing decision to become a foster mother for her local Schnauzer Rescue. Moved by the real life stories of neglect, trauma, hope, and compassion, she was compelled to share the journey of the animals she met. Bessie Mac, a retired RN, is the author of the Forever Home Series and currently resides in Glendale, Arizona. She shares her home with three Miniature Schnauzers, a rather large Boxer mix and two feline friends.
