From Fatty Arbuckle to Ben Affleck, Hollywood has had a long history of bad boy behavior. This book provides an insiteful look beyond the tabloids and into the careers and bad behavior of many of Hollywood's biggest stars. From drunken bouts to murder, nothing is left out. This book can also be read as a cautionary tale, as we see how such behavior (often fueled by alchohol and/or drugs) often destroyed or at least derailed many promising careers.

You might think this book just represents a tabloid-type recap of the scandals we all know about already. You'd be wrong. This book was obviously very well researched. Parish presents detailed facts about our favorite 'bad' boys, written in an entertaining style. It also covers an impressive scope, including not just current stars (Hugh Grant, Ben Affleck, etc.) but also those of yesteryear. You won't be disappointed.

Another well written, fun and informative book by Mr Parish. From Errol Flynn and Clark Gable to Ben Affleck and Charlie Sheen..all you ever wanted to know and more!

I don't know about you, but I thought Warren Beatty had a relationship with Natalie Wood. Not true, writes Jim Parish in his wonderfully entertaining Hollywood Bad Boys, Loud, Fast and Out of Control. Author of dozens of books on Hollywood, Parish has a well-honed sense for the perfect anecdote to enliven his short bios of Bad Boys. His list includes obvious candidates, Charlie Sheen, Johnny Depp, and James Dean, and some surprises, such as Bing Crosby. if you want your dirt dished with clean and clear prose, I strongly recommend this book. Prepare to go from beginning to end without a break.

A fascinating look at the extreme behavior of some of Hollywood's most revered actors: what they did, who they did it with and the consequences. Engagingly written, this one-of-a-kind view of some of Hollywood's famous tells all without being sleazy and provides a fun look at some Hollywood outrageous behavior. Read and enjoy, everyone.

Thoroughly entertaining take on the wild men of Hollywood, ranging from Wallace Reid from the early silent days to the very much in the news Robert Blake. Recommended for those who enjoy well-documented and fun gossip.

This is one of those fun books that you go back to time and again, just reading about how bad the privileged in this country can get. And it's not just a new phenomenon. As this book's anecdotes clearly point out, movie stars have been acting up for about as long as we've had movie stars in this country. While the stars themselves may be 'out of control,' the book itself is very well organized and highly readable. I picked up this book mainly because I enjoyed the author's one about Hollywood's bad girls, 'Hollywood Divas,' last year.

The best aspect of this collection of outrageous behavior is that the author doesn't just describe it/report it, he seems genuinely interested in discovering what's behind it, to explain why they're bad boys.

Everything you always wanted to know about bad behavior ¿but were too afraid to ask (or didn't know where to find it). Well, here it is! Spent all weekend reading Parish's lively new tome about the Silver Screen's most famous rogues - from scoundrels to rascals - & truly, couldn't put the book down. In just under 300 fascinating pages, found out WHO did WHAT to WHOM. What's more, the author tells you HOW and WHY. A phenomenally fun read, and highly recommended.
