Hollywood Christmas

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Stephen Thomas Erlewine
MCA Special Products' Hollywood Christmas is a weird collection of stars -- Hollywood stars -- from Debby Boone to Twiggy singing holiday tunes. There are a few standards here, but for the most part, it's contemporary tunes or novelties, many of which are unknown. This approach may result in an album as reliably entertaining as the average holiday collection, which relies completely on the tried-and-true, but in its own way, it's very entertaining since it doesn't go for the obvious. Sure, it can be a little campy or silly, but it's pretty much a good time -- a good time unlike any other holiday good time.
