Action packed and a shocking ending is everything a good sequel should have. This book is a must read, better than the first novel Son of the Mob. It keeps your attention, page by page you¿ll never want to put it down. This book starts out with Vince Luca heading off to college in sunny California. He, Alex, and Kendra are on there way only to discover that somehow they get themselves involved with mob. When they finally make it they discover that Vince¿s roommate is the Governor¿s son, a congressman and his driver are missing, and Vince¿s uncles start unexpectedly. This novel is entertaining and contains an ending that will shock everyone. I really enjoyed reading this book and I hope the author writes more novels continuing Vince¿s adventures.

The book Son of the Mob: Hollywood Hustle is about a boy named Vince going to college in L.A.. He tries to stay in touch with his girlfriend Kendra, who he met in the first book, but all of the pressure of school work and having a ''lady's man'' for a roommate is keeping him away from her. On top of that, his "uncles" (mob workers) are infiltrating his college dorm room and claiming they are just visitors. I gave the book Son of the Mob: Hollywood Hustle a three out of five because I thought it was very humorous. But, I didn’t think it was very exciting. I felt like there was no solid climax to change up the story a bit and make it more suspenseful. A part that was really funny was when Vince found one of his uncles in his dorm room using his bathroom and Vince was really surprised to see him because he really wasn’t supposed to be there. The part that I really didn’t expect was when Vince got an e-mail from who he thought it was Mr. Sutter, but, it ended up being someone much unexpected. The ending didn’t turn out the way I thought but it was still a really good ending. All-in-all, the book was pretty good. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. This book is interesting and I love the teenage drama in the book. Vince cheats on Kendra with Willow. But he finds out that Willow is an FBI informat hired by Kendra's father. That is so wrong on many levels because Kendra's father is willing to break Kendra's heart to break up her and Vince. They make up in the end which made me happy because like them together. I also like the shootout scene. I hope Gordon Korman will make a sequel to this. And then later on he can write a book from Kendra's point a view from the first book to the latest one (in case he does make a sequel) so we can learn about more about Kendra and her family. Was this review helpful? This book is the sequel to the excellent book written by Gordon Korman named Son of the mob. I would recommened this book to my friends but only friends that are as the same age as me because this book shouldn't be read by young children. Vince in this book graduated High School and attends the University of Santa Monica which is in California because he wants to be as far as far away from his family's mob organization in New York. When he arrives at school he is paired up with the son of a congressman named Tray as his roommate. After a month of college his brother Tommy showed up he says that his parents sent him to come and check up on him Tommy told Vince that he is going to get out of the mob.
When a congressman and his driver gone missing Vince automatically believes Tommy is behind the kidnapping of the congressman.I really did enjoy this book like I did with the previous book Son of the mob Hollywood Hustle had humor, and also it had action. This book was very addicting to read and I couldny put it down the first day I started reading it.This was a great book from the beginning to the end where theres a big twist. I'm glad that I chose to read this book I really did enjoy it alot.

Son of the Mob Hollywood Hustle is a stupendous book by Gordon Korman. Vince is now graduated high school and is now on his way to college. Vince becomes roommates with William Sutter, a congressman¿s son. After Vince is in college a couple of months, his brother Tommy shows up. He says that his parents told him to come and check up on him. Tommy says he is going to get out of the mob but Vince doesn¿t believe that he will. One of the congressman and his driver becomes kidnapped. Vince automatically believes that Tommy is behind it all but Tommy believes different. Vince and Trey¿s girlfriend go to watch Trey¿s father speak and they start kissing. Then a riot breaks out and Vince saw a few of his uncles wandering around. Vince¿s uncles have a tape lying on the floor, and it accidentally gets mixed up with his project and the turns in the kidnapping video to his teacher. He gets an e-mail that says to meet him out at the beach at midnight. He goes out to the beach and Trey¿s girlfriend tries to kiss him again and he runs. Some one takes pictures of them and shows them to Kendra, his girlfriend. Everyone is mad at Vince and he has to fend for himself. The thing I mostly hated about this book is the names of Vince¿s uncle¿s names. I really like the big twist at the end of the book. This book is part of a series and it can¿t be readout of order. This book reminds me of the T.V. show called Batman. I think a person who would like this book is someone who likes suspense and books that have twist. This book reminds me of some of the Gary Paulsen books. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Gordan Korman first came out in 2004 with his teen mafia sensation with Son of the mob, and now his following book with son of the mob: Hollywood hustle, and it came out with a bang! The story follows son of the mob Vincent Luca going from the big apple to Hollywood in Santa Monica College to study film. But this no simple college trip, for his whole ¿vending machine¿ family is coming out to help him, including his shady brother who dooms his college career. Also this year Vince will be sharing a roommate, trey, which has an irresistible girlfriend Willow, and who can¿t keep her eyes of trey, and Vince. But this isn¿t good for Vince, because he happens to have a girlfriend back home! Whose father happens to be an FBI agent who¿s been trying to catch Vince Luca¿s father for years. Find out how family will always help you in this book! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

My book The Son of The Mob Hollywood Hustle is a sequal to another book called the Son of the Mob. The book I¿m writing about starts of right after the other one finishes. Vince and his girlfriend Kendra and there friend named Alex are heading off for colledge in California. They decided to drive there from New York. They stop at a hotel for the night and Vince opens up his breifcase which was exposed to be filled up with cloths but it was really filled up with money. Then Vince and his friends have to get the money back to Vince¿s dad and get Vince cloths. The book just keeps on going on about Vinces problems. The book is really good though. I liked both of the books the Son of the Mob and the Son of the Mob Hollywood Hustle because they were action packed and there was never a dull moment in them. The book I read has to be read after you read the first one otherwise you are going to be reading Vinces life backwards. This book realates to the Sopranos a little because they are both about the Mob. It was a good book and I recommend it to any one. I hope whoever gets this book likes it.Was this review helpful? Vince Is a normal kid but his family is far from normal. Everyone in Vince¿s family is in the mob except for Vince, and Vince¿s dad is the mob boss. Vince is tacking Kendra and Alex to there collage Kendra is Vince¿s girlfriend and her collage is not far from Vince¿s collage, and Alex is a little bit farther from them he goes to UVLV the University of Las Vegas. Only after dropping his friends of he gets to go to his collage in Las Angeles, and when he gets there he gets to meet his room mate his name is Trey. A month later his brother shows and has to live with Trey and Vince because what he did back home. Then whole bunch of Vince¿s uncle stat to show up and all of them bring some of Vince¿s mom¿s homemade rigatoni. There are a lot of things that are going to happen to Vincent Luca. Some thing I didn¿t like about the book was had no for telling of what was going to happen next. And some other things that I didn¿t like was that thing happened way to fast. I did like the whole mob thing in the book I thought that was really exciting, and there was a lot of funny things that happened in the book. To me this book is like watching any funny mob movie. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

The book Son of the Mob Holly Wood Hustle is the sequel to Son of the Mob. Son of the Mob Holly Wood Hustle. about a college freshman named Vince. He is no ordinary college student his dad is a mob boss of New York. Vince wants nothing to do with his fathers business, so he picks a college as far away from home as possible. The college he picked is in Las Angles. Him and his college room mate Trey have many adventures together. Vince begins to think about how it would be to be single with Kendra busy with school and a play she is staring in. Vince discovers that he cannot get away from his fathers business, when his brother Tommy begins rooming with Trey and Vince. To make matters worse a few of the uncles begin hanging around there dorm too. I thought this book was awesome. It kept me at the edge of me seat from the very beginning of the book. If you like mystery books, you will love this book. I loved how Gordon Korman mixed college life with Mob adventures. I would recommend this book to anyone in 7th grade or higher. This book is a little bit like CSI, so if you like CSI you may like this book. There was nothing that I didn¿t like about this book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. If you have read the first Son of The Mob I highly recommend that you find time to read the sequel. At first I didn't know how they could put so many twists and turns into the book, but somehow they managed to do just that. This is a must read for teens! Was this review helpful? I was weary about this book because I loved the first one so much I wasn't sure how this would measure up. It was really cute! and if possible I liked it more than the first book because of the college setting( im in college myself). It had me laughing out loud and I couldn't put it down! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
