    loved, loved, loved it!

Even with the spelling errors that are usually distracting for me, I enjoyed the humor of the Aunts . I am 64 and loved this book, I
have read 4 of Gemma's books since December, and love them. I feel like I am right there in the action. Yes it was predictable but still an enjoyable read. Thanks for the entertainment that is so much better than the T.V.!!!!!

    Funny and action packed

This is a good read. Laugh out loud funny at times while sweet and tender at others...with some great action mixed in. I will definitely read more in this series.

But not for the teaser that hid this gem!

Having really enjoyed the other high heel books and looking for something to put me in the holiday spirit, I chose the high heel holiday story. I have to say, the cheese factor on it was pretty high and left my palet wanting for something much, much more. Fortunately, the teaser was a clever way to intro her new series, which I predict I am going to wholly love! Take a chance and try it, you won't be disappointed!

FORMERLY PUBLISHED UNDER THE TITLE: SCANDAL SHEET

I missed this disclaimer and when I started reading it I thought "I know this story". Loved the story, just disappointed that I paid AGAIN for the same book. I know buyer beware.

    Gossip and suspence

An interesting tale of what life could be life as a gossip columnist. You never know who could have it in for you. Looking to read the authors next book.

    more from this reviewer

    Great, Easy Read

I read this book in one night. While the 2 main characters lacked in passion, the main storyline was fun to read. The suspense of what was going to happen next kept me up until 3 am. The characters were each very well developed and the aunts were definitely entertaining. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a light and easy read that is still entertaining.

    Entertaining but predictable

I liked the characters. There is plenty of room to build a series. The plot was a bit predictable but I enjoyed the Disney touch. The only real problem I had was the punctuation. The last 30 pages or so had no quote marks in any of the dialog. Distracting and downright weird.

    A bit thin

A quick read. The character development is thin and the plot spotty. Editing very dicey, especially towards the end of the book. Might not have finished it if it had been longer. Not a bad story line, just not well-developed enough.

    Not much romance

This book was OK. The ending was good, but I had trouble staying interested in the story throughout the beginning and middle. I can't say I'd recommend it, but I would give the series one more try because I did like the main character and her Aunt.
