"Fans of Janet Evanovich will love this spin off of the High Heels Mysteries!" - Jen. B, avid reader

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Gemma Halliday...

Cameron Dakota is the L.A. Informer's staff photographer and paparazzi extraordinaire. Her latest subject is Trace Brody, top-shelf actor and half of America's favorite Hollywood couple. Trace is about to get married in a blow-out wedding, and Cam’s editor, Felix Dunn (from the High Heels Mysteries), has assigned her to get the first shots of the bride and groom. But when Cam takes pictures of what looks like Trace being threatened at gunpoint, she suddenly finds herself smack in the middle of a scandal more sensational than even she could invent. On the run, under fire, and in serious danger of falling in love with one leading man, Cam must get to the bottom of this story... before she becomes tomorrow's headline.

Editorial Reviews

Romantic Times
“The latest in the Hollywood Headlines series is 320 pages of pure fun. Halliday has created yet another laugh-out-loud whodunit. She breathes life into her mystery with a rich cast of vivid, pulp-fiction type characters and a heroine worth rooting for. 4 1/2 stars!”

Enjoy the Books - Hate the Typos!

I've now read my way through the Hollywood Headlines Series, the Las Vegas book and two of the five High Heels Series books. I enjoy the stories - her writing style is similar to Janet Evanovich. Unfortunately, most of the books (at least the Nook version) have atrocious spelling and syntax errors. It doesn't appear that anyone took the time to go through and spell check the book at all! Drives me crazy, but not enough not to read the books. If Ms. Halliday wants to step up her game and make it into the big leagues, she should exercise some quality control over the product that is published in her name.

fun to read but with lots of typos and errors

I have enjoyed this book and the first in the series also. Gemma Halliday maked these books easy to read and makes you want to hurry up and get to the end so you can make sure the heroine gets the happy ending. This book has a lot of errors in the ebook so sometimes it was a little diffucult to read but would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in escaping reality.

    Good story

I loved the first book in Gemma's Hollywood Headlines series, Scandal Sheet. This book had a good story and was a good follow up to the Scandal Sheet, but there were so many editing errors (typos, spelling mishaps and grammatical errors) that it nearly drove me crazy trying to figure out what she meant to say sometimes. I don't think I'll purchase another of her books without reading a sample first to see if she's cleaned up the mistakes.

    Not easy read

I read over 180 pages and still couldn't get into the book. Sorry but I wouldn't recommend.

    Typos Galore!

Now, I may only be about 100 pages into this book, but the typos are driving me nuts! They are so numerous that they are actually causing confusion; 'By's' turn into 'Buy's' and many words have been smushed together. I guess I'll just have to soldier through it. Gemma don't let me down!
