Crazy Cat Lady: A Magnetic Sculpture Kit

Overview

The Crazy Cat Lady is an icon in America. Is she an heiress who lost her fortune and has no job skills? A divorcee who didn’t have a good lawyer? Or an angel sent by St. Francis to care for the animals? She wanders around oblivious to her own needs and, like a cattle rustler, has corralled a herd of critters in her house, her yard, her baby buggy. This kit celebrates that brand of kindhearted, single-minded devotion with a magnetic Crazy Cat Lady figure and 12 metal cats that will jump on her the first chance they get. A great gift for lovers of cats, quirkiness, or for that girlfriend who fears she’s just one bad breakup away from being a Crazy Cat Lady herself.

I brought this item to enter into our staff's White Elephant gift exchange. After the Carzy Cat lady exchanged hands a few times, the person who ended up with it loved it. I'm tempted to purchase another one to try it for myself!

Since the lady doesn't stand up like she does in the picture, the kit was a bust. Don't waste you money.

The secretary of our department is always talking about her 2 cats, so when it came time to choose a birthday present for her, I came across this item at my local B&N store. It was perfect! Not too expensive, but it got the message across that I consider her our "crazy cat lady". I don't remember exactly how much I paid for this, but it was less than $10.

I bought this for a friend as an inside joke. We all think she'll one day have fifteen cats with names like Dribble, Diseased, Smelly, Ugly, Biter, Infected, and Flea (a little like the 7 dwarves but with cats). Although this little magnet kit is predominantly useless, it will fill her days with cats until she is lonely and old enough to buy 15 of her own.
