My previous electronic dictionary far out performed this one. I only bought it because after using my previous dictionary (the manufacturer's name escapes me) a couple of years, disturbing lines appeared on the screen, making some text illegible. For one thing, this dictionary doesn't return the user to his or her last function used. When turned on, it always boots up to a default menu, which is kind of annoying because the routine of getting to where you were before gets old. I do like the Hangman game. There are a couple of other games to play on it, but Hangman is my favorite. Another annoyance is the limited vocabulary. Not every word one comes across in their daily lives is included within this dictionary. I should have paid special attention to the fact that it is designed for students, but I thought that because it was for those in study, that it would include many words one might find at the collegiate level. Oh well, I got what I paid for. Next time, I'll pay more attention for what the product is geared for.
