I'm writing this review specifically for people buying online. I held and opened and reviewed this journal at the store because I absolutely love the idea. But there is no way on earth that this book will last five years of being opened and closed daily. The binding is weak and crunchy. It popped and snapped and we all know that means that the pages are going to separate from the cover. It's just too bad because, like I said, I think the idea is wonderful.

Not only do I personally own the One Line a Day journal but I have also given it as a gift several times. It is a lovely little journal that makes keeping tracks of life's joys and challenges very simple. All those receiving this as a gift have just adorded it. Great investment!

I've just started year 3 of writing one line a day. I love this little book, and I can't believe I've made it this far to the point where writing a quick reflection on each day is now a habit. So far, the book is holding up. I'm a little nervous about the binding lasting another 3 years, but it's made it for two so we'll see how it goes!

One of the best gifts I ever got. No, it's not for a "note to self," but for deconstructing all those thoughts and putting down the little nuggets of wisdom and inspiration, or pain, or whatever.

I've had this book for 4 years and it is wonderful!  I can write down the most important things that happened that day, funny things that my kids have done, special occasions that have happened, where we have traveled etc....  It's so nice to be able to look back (on the same page) what happened on that same day, year after year.  I just love it! When we travel I take it with me to capture each day what we did and it has held up great.  I highly recommend this journal!

Hated it! This is definitely not a diary where you can continuously write page by page, it's definitely ONLY meant for those looking to write down their note to self. In addition, the bounding of the journal is not too sturdy due to constant the constant open and close of this journal.
