I love the size of this journal (about the same as a standard composition book) and that it opens to lay completely flat. The paper is really nice and thick and has no bleed through, even though I write with a felt tip pen. That being said, the fact that the cover is just paper means that it is wearing faster than I would prefer. I have been using it for about a month and will likely only continue to write in this journal for another week. Then I want to get a leather journal that will stand up to being toted around with me all the time. Bottom line - I highly recommend this notebook if you are just going to leave it on your desk or end table. But, as an everyday journal that can go everywhere with you, it might not be able to withstand that kind of abuse before you fill it up.
