About the Author

The art of writing has always fascinated me. Writing a book has been a long-term goal of mine. However, as we all know, life can get too busy to pursue our dreams. After my soulmate passed away, writing became a great way to cope with my grief and improve my writing skills. I have now published eight books, encompassing both fiction and non-fiction genres, all of which are self-published on Amazon. I am a father to four beautiful children, have four grandchildren, and my loving four-legged companion, Angel, who is aptly named.

I grew up in Binghamton and still have my family there. I moved a couple years after graduation but have always considered Binghamton home. Everything described in this book I either remember, some buildings by other names, and loved being transported back in time. Would definitely recommend this book, found out things i didn't even know. Great read.

This book is a celebration of a beautiful city w/nice people. Mr. Bogart has generously given it's history w/flair and humor. The color version is more enjoyable than B/W. But either way it is an interesting and enjoyable read!
