Meet the Author

Melissa Davis, an assistant principal in Cumberland County, North Carolina, was a military child who had to relocate with her Army family four times. This book series was created out of her desire to help other children facing frequent relocations. Melissa brings some of her personal family experiences to life through her main characters. Melissa Davis holds a BS in Elementary Education and a Master's in School Administration. Her administrative and teaching background as well as her experiences as a mother helped her write a book that is both educational and entertaining.
