So great I bought it for my sister, too

I must have about 15 landscaping books, but this is the one I always end up using. ONLY plants that work where I live, pictures of every plant they mention, and great planting tips as well. After visiting my sister in Pennsylvania (and helping her in her yard), I've decided this is the perfect birthday present. Also, now we'll be able to discuss different planting diagrams over the phone!

    THE book for Mid-Atlantic gardeners!!!

How annoying is it to plan your garden using a book only to find out that the plants you've decided on won't work in your zone/region?? This book is so useful, because every plant works in this region! It's easy to read, gives great tips, and the garden plans are excellent. If you are a mid-atlantic gardener, and you buy only one book, this should be the one!
