Editorial Reviews

Library Journal - Library Journal
This is a good book for the money. Its chatty, informal style puts important decisions about home office design and equipment into a ``user-friendly'' context. Those who are technologically sophisticated may find the chapters on computer hardware, software, and peripherals too elementary, but for the first-time buyer those chapters will be especially helpful. All will benefit from the author's emphasis on personal style, flexibility, efficiency, and economy. A few quibbles: the index is quirky; organizations listed in the Buyer's Guide lack phone numbers (although they are given for major vendors); and there were several words which the spelling checker missed. However, this is still a recommended purchase, especially where subject coverage is needed.-- Ellen McDermott, NYNEX Corp., White Plains, N.Y.
