    Another great one

Sasha's still dealing with the fallout from her birthday party and trying to put her relationship back to normal with Paige all while dealing with Homecoming. Sasha wants nothing to do with homecoming, but since she's nominated for the court, she must attend events.

Paige, on the other hand, can't stop talking about homecoming. It seems as though Heather is the only other person not interested in homecoming. When Sasha needs a break from all the chatter, she can always talk to Heather. The two are surprisingly becoming friends...or sort of friends.

Heather's the only one who knows the truth about Jacob and Eric. Sasha can't deny her feelings any longer, but she tries hard not to look at him, talk to him, or even think about him too much. Paige keeps wanting to know the truth and the secrets Sasha is keeping could be ruining their friendship.

Will Sasha and Paige's friendship return to normal before their vacation together? Can Sasha and Heather survive homecoming without major incidents? Will Sasha attempt to patch up her relationship with Callie?

Still awesome - love this series, it's addicting.

An Amazing and Thrilling Series That keeps You Hooked

In Home Sweet drama so much is going on in Sasha`s life, with Eric dumping her and Callie`s coolness towards her it`s hard, plus Jacob isn`t much help he makes things just more difficult and unbearable.Sasha can`t even look at him. When she`s finally ready to tell Paige exactly the truth Paige is too wrapped up with Ryan and Homecoming to talk. When dance night comes though Sasha finally can`t stand it any longer and refusing to go to NY city with Paige and is invited to join Heather, and seeing Eric with a girl who has had a crush on him for awhile hurts her a bit but also the thought of Jacob makes her feel wierd.Who will she choose and will she join Heather during break?Find out in the next book that will most likely keep you hooked.I recomend this whole entire series to read. Also check canterwoodcrest.com

Canterwood Crest: Home Sweet Drama (Book 8)

Here is yet another example of Jessica Burkhart's natural talent and voice. Canterwood Crest: City Secrets is the ninth book in the Canterwood Crest Series. It combines horses, drama, and lip gloss together in a way that catches the reader and draws them in instantly. It is entertaining, absorbing, and funny. Jessica Burkhart's unique and captivating voice brings the CC characters to life. The CC girls are relatable and fascinating with real-life problems, thoughts, actions, and situations. Every character is unique and fun. This book is the perfect recipe with a mix of good characters, fun horses, and drama filled situations (but always with a touch of humor). Jessica Burkhart may easily be one of best tween/teen writers in the world. She really knows how to make the books fun, yet dramatic; serious, yet funny; horsey, yet not overly horsey. She has an amazing gift and writes with a voice that will take you over and draw you in effortlessly. I always am excited for the next book and they have never failed to thrill me. Here is my take on Canterwood Crest: City Secrets:

13 year-old Sasha Silver is spending fall break with her old enemy/new friend, Heather Fox in her gorgeous NYC penthouse. Sasha wasn't exactly planning break this way. She and her BFF/roomier, Paige Parker have been planning to go and stay in NYC at Paige's apartment. But at the end of the previous book, Canterwood Crest: Home Sweet Drama, Paige and Sasha got into a huge fight and that ended their long, well-planned trip. Although Sasha wants to forgive Paige, she knows they need some time apart, so when Heather offers to have Sasha stay with her over break, she accepts. Heather is extremely nice to Sasha and her comments have turned from hurtful to teasing. The girls go riding, shopping, get manicures and sight seeing. Just as the girls are bonding, Heather throws a fastball. She try's to be helpful (in her classic "Heather Way") but it makes Sasha panic. Read more in Canterwood Crest: City Secrets.

I really enjoyed City Secrets, no surprise. It was fun to see the somewhat nicer side of Heather, while she still kept the snarky comments that we know and love. The girls got to see lots of sites and it was nice to hear about them relaxing. It was a good break from the high-drama campus lifestyle. It did lack a lot of drama (with the exclusion of the ending) and had limited characters but it was still amazing. It wasn't my favorite CC book but it was, as usual, fabulous. It sets you up nicely for a drama-filled Canterwood Crest: Elite Ambition (Book 10). I would recommend this book for girls, ages 9-15. Even if you aren't a horse person, these are still great books for you, with many un-horsey parts to balance the horsiness. I know you will love these books so READ, READ, READ!

    A Really Great Series

My daughter loves this series of books and can hardly wait to read each one as they come out. They definately rate as her favorites right now. She's 12 and loves horses and is currently taking horse back riding lessons. She enjoys the interaction of the girls in the stories; specifically the fact that they are close to her age and experience similar social problems. Mostly, she enjoys reading about horses. She's read just about every horse serios I can think of and she says this one's the best. I like the fact that the stories seem very authentic when they talk about horses and horse care. My daughter has learned things from the books that she has later confirmed with her instructor. You can't beat that, fun to read and educational!

    great!!!!

I have read all the Canterwood Crest books. This one didn't disappoint! Sasha's trying to find the right time to tell Paige what really happened at her birthday party, but Paige is obsessed with an upcoming dance at the school. Sasha hangs out more and more with the Trio, and they celebrate at the beginning because Jasmine King (possibly the meanest girl ive ever read about!) got expelled. Sasha plans to spend fall break with Paige in NYC, but when she and Paige have a fight, Sasha decides to spend break with...oops! can't say! read book 8 to find out who, and book 9 to find out how Sasha's fall break is going.

    A Must Read?-Duh!

I absolutely heart this book! Jasmine is gone (finally), but there is still more drama left. Sasha struggles to stay at Canterwood Crest Academy without being friends with Eric or Callie. Nawt to mention Homecoming looming ahead and Sasha being a nominee for Homecoming princess. To add to Sasha's dram, her relationship with Paige, her roomate and BFF, is becoming more and more fragile. And through it all, Sasha is slowly getting more friendly with the Trio. The Trio! Will Sasha survive one more year at CCA?

    Canterwood Crest- Home Sweet Drama

When Sasha lied to Callie and everyone else to "protect" Callie, she never expected to find ut that she actually might have done it for Jacob. Who could blame her? Jacob is sweet, funny, cute and pretty much everything Sasha wants. But when Jacob breaks up with Callie, will she start to wayne and start anew with Jacob? Will Paige ever forgive Sasha for the things she said? Will Sasha ever forgive Paige for the things that she said? Find out in this drama packed eigth book where, once again, Jessica Burkhart makes the words come to life so that even the people that hate reading can't make themselves put the book down.

    Go Team Canterwood!!!

Home Sweet Drama is another stunning canterwood Crest book, written by the witty and funny Jess Burkhart. Home Sweet Drama is a great novel because, for one thing, Jasmine is no longer in the scene, and for another, Heather starts to warm up to Sasha, making them friendlier to each other. I think the Canterwood series is one of the best out there, and this is just one of the amazing installments of it.
