Bob Waldo was without a fulfilling love all his young life. As a spitited Naval Officer he was too lackadaisical to know 'true love' when charming and beautiful Leslie Taylor entered his life. Leslie told of her grandmother's story of love found on the Morning Side of the Mountain, but Bob never realized his love for Leslie until it was too late and he had watched her walk out of his life. The hearbreak of losing Leslie drove Bob to a life of hedonism and he fell vulnerable to charms of beautiful and strong-willed Mandy Cambridge, the one who occupied his time but not his heart. As mandy's passion for Bob grew and Bob's turmiol of losing Leslie tormented his mind, their friendship crosses the line one cold winter night at Lake Tahoe that makes Bob think he may be able to live a fulfilling life leaving Leslie in the past, building a life with Mandy and looking at an impending tour of duty in Vietnam. As his tour of duty through Vietnam uncovers secrets of traitors within the American goverment and Bob is faced with life changing decisions,he realizes how quickly decisions can become defining moments and can change your life forever. Would Bob be able to recover from the visions of Vietnam and be able to forget the visions of Leslie? It would be ten years before he would be able to answer that agonizing question that played in his mind everyday as he searched for normalcy again. How long could love hold on? Was there a difference of holding on and never letting go? Only Leslie could help him find the answer. The Heart Remembers When the answer is found on the Morning Side of the Mountain. Was Leslie still at home on that mountain? Was that mountain his home? Could his heart be found there? Home to my Mountain combines love, war and intrigue to tell the heart-felt story of love from it's youthful days to the days of old, and the happiness and sorrow in-between that molds our pathway and leads us to the place we are ment to be in life. 'A heartfelt story not soon to be forgotten. The love story that makes the heart recognize the difference between holding on and never letting go.' Tracy Crudup, author of 'The MIst of Mineral Springs'
