I was fortunate enough to receive a copy of this book directly from the aurthor. Jim has become quite a friend of mine. Jim I am honored. This was such a breath of fresh air to read. I learned, laughed, even cried in some sections. Jim has a way to make you think about things in the kitchen without making them difficult. Anyone can learn to live in the kitchen so to speak in this book. If you think you can't cook I am hear to tell you that you can. Read and you will see. Jim has a way with words that make you feel you can do anything. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. Take a chance and buy this book and start living in your kitchen again. This book is just amazing. It is a great guide for anyone just starting out on their own in the kitchen. Very interesting things to learn regarding food and cooking. With a light heart I might add. This book is an informative work for the novice on how to arrange your kitchen and begin to understand how to cook for yourself and others. The title uses baseball terms as an analogy for the different steps as they are explained. It is not dull. It is clear and understandable so it will teach and instruct as many people as possible without aiming over the average readers head.It is a quick read for our fast paced lifestyle of today,Bravo!Was this review helpful?
