The imagery she gives is exactly what most people think homeschoolers are, loose, sloppy, disorganized and well, people you don't associate with because they're so against everything mainstream. For those of you seeking a book to tell you what to write, subjects to teach, curriculum to look for, and how to deal with Boards of Ed.; keep looking, because I haven't found it, and I'm looking for 3 years. Just be brave, go with your heart, and when you're feeling uncertain, just remember why you made the decision, tie up loose ends and start something fresh for the week... but don't spend your time on this book.
