Overview

Anne caught her husband cheating with the maid of Honor before their wedding cake was cut. She decided to take her planned and paid for honeymoon in Tuscany, alone. On the evening of what was to be her wedding night, she gets bitten by a female vampire.

Marcus Monteleone has waited three hundred years to find his fated female, only to discover her dying in his arms. He saves Anne's life by turning her, and then works to gain her trust, to cope with being a newly formed golden vampire.

But when Anne finds out Marcus has not been completely truthful about his past, she vows to live as a human, and shuns the vampire world. Alone and unprotected, she falls prey to the very villainess who took her human soul, and who now takes the only man she's ever loved.

Which lover will have to make the ultimate sacrifice to save the other before they both are lost?

Meet the Author

Sharon Hamilton has finaled in several Romance contests with her paranormals, and has written two other books in this series. In addition to paranormal, she writes hot contemporary Navy SEAL stories she is currently polishing for publication later in the year.

Although there is a good vs. evil theme in all of Sharon's books, this is totally a work of fiction, based on the author's creativity and studying teachings of several disciplines, but in no means should the reader expect to come away with anything but a good, enjoyable fantasy read.

Rating: 4.5 Stars This is the first book that I have read by Sharon Hamilton, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The story between Anne and Marcus was incredible and will keep you engrossed from beginning to end. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more from Sharon Hamilton. :)

Wow is all I can say. I've read Sharon's Seal books but hadn't read any of her other stories yet. Boy have I been missing out. This was a great love story. I love these Golden vampires so cool how they are different from other vampires.

I was so thrilled when I won a contest by Sharon Hamilton and then even more so, when she offered me a chance to have a copy of Honeymoon Bite. I have been eyeing this book for a awhile, so to say that I was overjoyed would be a understatement. The day after winning, I here to tell everyone, if you love a good Vampire romance, full of angst, drama and hot sweating sex, then Honeymoon Bite by Sharon Hamilton is the book for you! I absolutely loved the characters and the storyline. Everything seemed to flow together so smoothly that when I started reading, it was 9am and before I knew it, BINGO it’s 4pm. Still sitting on the couch, in my PJ’s but I was done with the book. Thank you to Ms. Hamilton for the contest and thank you for a fabulous afternoon spent losing myself in the delightful world of vampires you created. I look forward to reading the next book in the awesome series.

While this had a good story line, it was desperately in need of better editing. The spelling errors weren't as bad as some, but there were too many occasions of sentences with missing or added words and incorrect tense (i.e., "his hand touched touching her lower back."). About half way through the book, I found myself skipping large sections of description in an attempt to move the story along. I would probably reread this book and any sequels if there was major editing.
