Honky Tonk Country [Warner]

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Campbell
Honky Tonk Country is a fairly entertaining sampler of familiar hits released in the '80s and '90s. The skimpy ten-track compilation contains the original versions of "Let Somebody Else Drive" John Anderson, "Two More Bottles of Wine" Emmylou Harris, "There'll Always Be a Honky Tonk Somewhere" Randy Travis, and "It Won't Hurt" Dwight Yoakam. There's no particular reason why this compilation exists, but it's cheap and the end result is an enjoyable listen.
