About the Author

Míriam Bonaster Tur nació en Pineda de Mar en 1994. Estudió ilustración en la Escola Joso Centre de Còmic i Arts Visuals. Durante más de cuatro años y de forma semanal, Míriam publicó Hooky en Webtoon, que se convirtió en uno de los mayores éxitos internacionales de esta plataforma digital de cómics y la llevó a editar la obra en papel. El tomo 1 de Hooky ha sido muy bien recibido tanto en España como en Estados Unidos, donde ha entrado en las listas de más vendidos de The New York Times. Es colaboradora habitual de la revista Planeta Manga, en la que ha publicado, junto con Blanca Mira, Laia López y Sara Lozoya, El príncipe de la calamidad. Su nuevo webcómic, Marionetta, puede leerse en Webtoon.

Míriam Bonaster Tur was born in Pineda de Mar in 1994. She studied illustration at the Escola Joso Centre de Còmic i Arts Visuals. For more than four years and on a weekly basis, Miriam published Hooky on Webtoon, which became one of the biggest international successes of this digital comic book platform and led her to publish the work on paper. Volume 1 of Hooky has been very well received both in Spain and in the United States, where it has entered the bestseller lists of The New York Times. She is a regular contributor to the magazine Planeta Manga, in which she has published, together with Blanca Mira, Laia López and Sara Lozoya, The Prince of Calamity. His new webcomic, Marionetta, can be read on Webtoon.
