Album cover book is great.

Although I bought this as a gift, it is pretty cool to look at all the crazy album covers. The person who I am giving it to is an album collector, so he should love it.

    Horrifically Funny

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a friend of mine. Before I wrapped it I decided to read it. (we are both avid vinyl collectors) I literally laughed myself into tears a couple of times. A few of the covers aren't all that bad but the commentary about them is what is truly funny.

Great for any vinyl collector or just someone who's lookin for a good laugh!

had me cracking up in the store!

I was bored and looking for something that was not fantasy, not related to magic, witchcraft, not made up history, no glib and chatty hot gossip chicks complaining about their sex lives, or coldly distant guys having gratuitous sex with the hot chick and never the baggy chick. What I found near the end of my search and near the front of the store was this book, which had on its cover photos of album covers that reminded me of my mother's terrible album collection. We were never the cool kids on the block whose parents dug Elton John or the Beach Boys, my mother was into The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Andy Williams. So this book brought back memories of '100 Greatest Polka Hits' and everyone who had to include 'If I Had A Hammer' on their album of Greatest Hits. Be sure to check out my personal favorite, 'Organ Fantasies' featuring a picture of a smiling, gorgeous woman, bare from the shoulders up, looking dreamily off into the distance. Talk about 'Organ Fantasies'! (wink-wink) It's rare to find a book that makes me laugh so hard I cry in the store. I loved the sly, snide comments about bad fashion and worse hairdos. (Please don't bring back the 80's and mullets ever again!)
