Richard Klimesh studied architectural design and has built and remodeled horse facilities throughout the United States. His wife Cherry Hill is the author of 24 books on horse training and care, including Horsekeeping on a Small Acreage, Stablekeeping, 101 Arena Exercises, and The Formative Years. The authors live in Colorado.

Meet the Author

Richard Klimesh has been a Certified Journeyman Farrier and blacksmith since 1977. He studied architectural design and has built and remodeled horse facilities throughout the United States and Canada. His articles on horse barns and facilities have appeared in Horse & Rider, Western Horseman, and other magazines. Cherry Hill is an internationally known instructor and horse trainer who has written numerous books, including 101 Arena Exercises for Horse & Rider, Horse Care for Kids, Horsekeeping on a Small Acreage, How to Think Like a Horse, and What Every Horse Should Know. They live in Livermore, Colorado.
