    Great book!

I have wanted a horse since i was 4 years old. My parents said I could get a horse in a year but they said that a year ago. They don't think i know alot about horses and they don't think i am responsible enough but I take care of my neighbor's horses. I read this book and learned so much. Even the sample is good. I told my parents what i knew about horses and they were impressed with what i learned. I think this is a perfect book and is a great book for people who don't know alot about riding and terms. (That use to be me) this is a great book.

    AMAZING!!!!!!

I only read the sample and it was already really good because i have ben riding for about three years now and i have many friends who own horses and tell me this kind of stuff. But this book has taught me allready more than my friends habe taught me even though i am an advanced rider this bok is still very informational for me because up until this year i knew nothing really about horses, all i knew was an amazing rider but now i am educated even more and so now i will go buy the book so i can read all of it.

This book has been the best book that i have ever read. I love horses so much. I have been riding horses my whole life so, i know a lot about them and i still learned a whole lot. I fully suggest getting this book if you are in love with horses and want to have a closer relationship with your horse.

    Thorough and well wrtten

Like most of the 'Dummie' books, the author has broad experience and expertice. In this case, she also has good humor, making this an enjoyable intro to horseback riding. It has exactly the content I need for getting started in the sport.

    Great book!

I think that this book is great for both beginer riders and more advanced riders. I am a more advanced rider and this book gave me advice to things that I did not know. I recomend this book to anyone who wants to ride or has already riden.
