Meet the Author

Moira C. Harris is an award-winning editor and book author. Under her decade of guidance as editor, Horse Illustrated magazine became the largest equine publication in America. Involved with horses for more than 30 years, she has written numerous books on horse care and riding. She has ridden in various disciplines, including western, endurance, and dressage, and currently competes in show jumping.

Nicola Jane Swinney is the hunting editor of Horse & Hound, Britain’s premier equestrian magazine. A former newspaper journalist, she is the author of several equestrian titles, including the best-selling Spirit of the Horse, and is a regular contributor to other publications, both in the United Kingdom and the United States.
