An informative and enjoyable read, this book would be most popular among people who live on or near the shores of the the Delaware Bay.
Every spring for thousands, perhaps millions, of years a bayside ballet repeats itself. Horseshoe crabs and shorebirds are the dancers in the ballet and this book allows the reader to be the audience.
A good spring time read aloud for primary students. Facts and illustrations should interest elementary students (3-5) and, perhaps, some middle school students.
