Overview

The Enforcer's Oath: Protect the club at all costs.

Jackal made an enemy out of Penni when he kidnapped her years ago. He let her go, never imagining she would take a piece of his soul with her. Now protecting Penni against a former brother will force him to place the club against her once again.

She may be the Hostage, but he's the one held captive by the lust she refuses to admit binds them together.

She thinks The Last Riders and another man will be all the protection she needs to end the tug of war between them. However, he's never lost a battle, especially against a tiny blonde with an attitude, begging him to teach her that her place is under him.

To end the battle, he's going to have to reclaim the piece of soul she stole from him or claim a part of her soul as prisoner.

When a predator takes you hostage, you're his forever.

My least favorite.

There was some noticable changes from the other books. Like Ginny became Genny. And wasn't Shade and Penni related by having the same father not mother?? Those made me really confused ?

This book was awful. So sad and i have read the entire series. Wished Penni and Jackals story haf more of a connection as opposed to same blah blah in each chapter.

I have been waiting years on Jackal and Penni's story...gotta say this was my least favorite one. That ending was anti climatic. The Penni i knew wouldnt wait around and then be cool when Jackal returns. What the heck happened in Mexico? Lots of underdeveloped pieces.

Slow start but got good when all the Last Riders came into the story.

If I could give a book zero stars, I'd pick this one. There was no depth to the characters. The storyline didn't flow. I found myself skipping pages, hoping something would happen that would grab my attention. Don't waste your money.

The strong characters which Jamie Begley has created thru her novels have made us love each and every one of them. We kept asking for Penni and Jackal's story and we got a little teaser which kept her fans waiting for this story to be told. I cannot speak for others, but I loved this book. Penni we were introduced to this crazy loving women in the Last Riders series as being Shade's little sister which was asked to become Lilly's roommate in college. We saw how she was a very loyal friend and was a spitfire to fight for causes that are close to her heart. What she did not realize, the man she was looking for will be a "Predator" just like her brother.......but will she be able to get out of the trouble she finds herself in by being at the wrong place at the wrong time. We became introduced to Jackal when the Predators came in contact with Lilly at the fairgrounds then later when he took Penni hostage so they could use her as an exchange for one of their members being held by the Last Riders. Little did he know this spitfire of a women was going to take something from him in the end......his heart. First he has to get her out of the trouble which she seems to have gotten herself into with a rival MC club. You will have to read to see how Penni creates some of the problems she ends up in and how Jackal cannot seem to let her go thru them alone. Will these two make it to the end or will they each go their separate ways......Just remember "What a Predator takes, they don't give back..........." You will laugh, cry and love this new book "HOSTAGE" by Jamie Begley.

I love Jamie Begley! I love Her Books! Im so glad shes back to writing! with all that said i have to say: I was disappointed with this book. My expectations were high because i felt this story line coming through a series of books so i expected to fall in love with the story as i did with shades story but i didnt. The hype to the sex scene to then have the next page fast forward 2 months was disappointing. It felts rushed and left alot of emotion and connection out. Then again when they had an argument and he left for 6 months, we were not taken on that journey either it rushed to oh now hes back. I felt like if you were going to time travel the audience has to understand that travel in time the emotions and feelings to end where they are now .... it felt rushed and lacked a connection. It wasnt her best, still good i just feel there could have been more.

I throughly enjoyed the book. Even though some people didn't the discrepancies they mentioned were so minor that really made no difference. So JAMIE glad you're better we've really missed you.

According to the rating 2 stars is BELOW AVERAGE but this book is pretty average for this author. I might be in the minority but I was disappointed with this book. I dislike Penni, so I don’t care if Jackal cheats. I dislike Jackal so I don’t care that Penni is a bitch. How old is this girl? Penni, is a spoiled immature little girl with too much attitude and being a bitch is not attractive. The obsession she has to Train is a bit over the top for an adult ~ back to that immature part of her again. After so many books in both of these series I hoped this author might have given me a strong female, but sadly Penni is just another doormat that forgave the impossible {but he wasn’t even hard? That is the same BS she wrote for Beth and Razer}. As for the club whores….I am just about done with this entire series because of these girls….Raci, Jewell, Ember, hell all that is missing is Bliss and I think that Raci is the new Bliss AND can anyone tell me what happened to Rita, cause after her “hang around” attitude she was written off without explanation ~ but no worries Penni would have forgiven him his transgression. I don’t care for Max and barely tolerate Ice so that made me very weary of Jackal and I was right. Just another arrogant biker, nothing but the club matters and how many whores can he bed. I want a stronger female Ms. Begley, I want one that will bring the Last Rider to his knees to the point the whore bitches can’t penetrate the vow he took for her (Knox didn’t even succeed in that but he came damn close).
