I was really wishing we would get to see more Trick in this book. Justin, Trick, Justin, Trick. What's a girl to do? Who will Kat pick? I love how each boy is protective over her! I was cheering when she kicked tail and then later in the book, she is running scared, I was SMH. Make her be kick-ass all the time! I hope Cordellia will get a HEA & I really wish I could B-slap Ariel and Regan!! Those two are horrible. So does anyone else out there want to know how exactly Trick and Grandpa is involved in this life? How does Kat's dad fit into this? Who is the wolf that bit her and why? Is there really a Hellhound? How is the Wolf seminar involved in the plot? Will Kat ever find the mine? Which boy will she choose? So many questions have been uncovered. Dun,dun,dun......Stayed tuned for the next installment of this fast paced, romantic, action-packed, mysterious werewolf series!!!

Though the first novel, Unleashed, wasn’t an exact thriller, the cliffhanger had me dying for the next novel. So when I heard it was released on Amazon.co.uk I just had to buy it. Fortunately, my impatience was well rewarded because I found Hot Blooded far much better than Unleashed. It moved quickly and each chapter ended with me wanting more. The reason, I think, was Justin – the werewolf that Katelyn can’t keep her hands off of, and I can’t blame her. *Wolf whistles.* Actually, one of the things that disappointed me about the first novel was that it hardly touched on his character. And honestly, I still want to know more about him, but at least he had a greater presence in this novel. Also, the mystery of the silver mine and Hellhound was still tantalizing, though it really wasn’t the focus of this novel. Hot Blooded was more about Katelyn’s adjustment to “pack life,” which in itself was intriguing and bloody scary at times. There were moments where I wanted to run. Now, Katelyn was still so “about the drama” in her life – which I wish she would just give it a rest – she is so self-absorbed. Like with her friend, Cordelia, who was in a sort of life or death situation. Katelyn kept clamming she was trying to help, but honestly, I never saw the effort. She was too wrapped up with herself to do anything for Cordelia. Yet this novel kept me reading, and worse, this novel ended with another cliffhanger. AGH! Now I have to wait another year to find out what happens.
