    Making the Cut in a Box

    I love Jilian Michaels. I bought her fitness book Making the Cut and have followed the training a few times, and I always get results and I never get results with other programs. So I bought this Hot Bod in a Box to keep following her fitness routines, it is the exact same workout schedule as Making the Cut, word for word. If you're interested only in the workout get the Hot Bod in a Box. If you want some nutrition advice and other great weight loss tips buy Making the Cut.

    Excellent Reference

    I purchased these cards about 1 month ago and I really like them. They are good for providing a complete lifting routine and also have circuits on them if you want a complete routine to change it up. I also like the fact that the cards have pics of the exercises so you can check to make sure you're doing them correctly.

    false advertising

    This product is widely advertised as 'everything you need for a hot bod...in a box!' So, I bought it, since I like Jillian's DVDs, but wanted something to take with me on travel. Inside, it states: you will need weights, resistance bands and a balance ball- not provided.
    Needless to say, disappointing.
    Then, I got to the cards. The instructions are all over the place: for many activities, it is assumed you know what she is talking about, in others, the directions make no sense and in about 1/4th, you know what she means and can actually do the activity.
    All in all, a major thumbs down.

    Crazy Addiction

    She is crazy and expects too much, but she is darn good at it. If you commit just me you will get. This is one of a few proven to be successful products of hers that I have used! This one is quick convenient and unpredictable...

    Hot Bod by Jillian Micheals

    I love the concept that is presented in the package. I myself is looking to create a package simliar but with a different spin on it.The exericses are fun and diverse enough to give the client and professional different options with training. I am a personal trainer and I use her cards for my personal use as well as for my clients excellent comments and results and a awesome experience. The price of the cards are a reasonable price. The photos are clear and concise, the only concern that I would say that I have is if you were to have an older or more mature customer purchase the cards the picture may need to be a bit bigger and the writing but then the product would need to be changed and that might not be possible since it is already created so I would suggest that the client take the cards to a professional trainer who can modify the program to the fitness goal of the client and monitor the client in how to use the program & to help them to perform the exercises correctly. But I am very pleased with her work and the product.

    Did not work for me. Returned the item.

    This was not what I expected. I thought the workout cards would demonstrate core workout programs for the gym. The workout cards were not intended for the gym and were not very interesting to me.

    I think the box is good for self-organizers. I like the routines completely laid out for me, without the hazzel of reading too much.
