Meet the Author

Lora Leigh
Lora Leigh is known for her deliciously intense and satisfying erotic romance. Her characters come to her in her dreams, inspiring her with the possibilities of What If... Most days, Lora can be found in front of her computer weaving daydreams while sipping the ambrosia of the gods, also known as coffee. When not writing, thinking about writing, or plotting what to write, Lora, a Kentucky native, enjoys gardening, fishing, and hiking with her husband and children.
Angela Knight is the USA Today bestselling author of the Mageverse series and the Warlord series for Berkley Books. She has also written for Red Sage, Changeling Press, Loose Id and Ellora's Cave. Besides her novels, Angela’s publishing career includes a stint as a comic book writer and ten years as a newspaper reporter. Several of her stories won South Carolina Press Association awards under her real name. Angela lives in South Carolina with her husband, Michael, a polygraph examiner and hostage negotiator for the county's Sheriff's Office.
Anya Bast lives in the country with her Belgian husband, their tornado toddler of a daughter, and more cats, dogs, and rabbits than is sane. Ever since she was a little girl, Anya has told stories (much to her mother's dismay). She's happy to finally be making a career out of it.

A native of one of the colder states, she loves to ice skate and watch hockey. She has fascination for crows, ravens and birds of prey. She enjoys the study of Eastern philosophy, Celtic myth, dreaming, and shamanism and occasionally incorporates what she learns into her paranormal stories. She works part time as a data base editor and French translator.

Award-winning author Allyson James writes romances as both Allyson James and Jennifer Ashley. She has lived in the Southwest for twenty years and enjoys exploring its mountains, deserts, and ancient ruins. More information on this series and Allyson’s other books can be found on her website.

    four strong fantasies

"Vampire's Ball" by Angela Knight. Single mom Kat Danilo learns two stunners. First she can become a majae magic practitioner and second her absentee father is a vampire.

"A Little Night Magic" by Allyson James. Single mom Naomi is taken aback when her former Navajo shaman lover Jamison Kee wants back in her life and that of their daughter.

    "Sweet Enchantment" by Anya Bast,
Bella Mac Lyr's offers to marry mage Ronan Quinn in order to save his life, but he says no. Instead he escapes taking Bella with him.

"A Christmas Kiss" by Lora Leigh'. Someone wants Jessica Raines; only her life-mate Breed Hawke Esteban can keep her safe, but she rejects his protection and his need to name her as his out of fear for his life if the killer succeeds.

These are four strong fantasies starring containing deep casts with the holiday bonus of having a Breed and Mageuniverse tale included.

    I Also Recommend:

One to warm a winter night!

The stories in Hot For The Holidays were all very erotic, and for the most part the stories read smoothly and the major characters were likable. My only disappointment was with Leigh's contribution as I thought the dialog a little skewered and the romantic elements lacked maturity. Of all the stories, I felt Angela Knight's Vampire's Ball was the very best. There was humor and true passion in this story, which made for a satisfying combination. Overall, I think this collection has a lot of spice to warm a winter night!

A very interesting way to experience new authors. I really enjoy

A very interesting way to experience new authors. I really enjoyed all of the stories presented in this holiday edition anthology. The first story is called Vampire Ball was truly a new and unique way of looking at magic. It's like there was parallel universe where magic is easier to perform there than it is here on Earth. I also loved the use of Arthurian Lore as a means to base magically ability.
The second story is called A Little Night Magic was about a man coming to terms with be a Changer(Shifter). The man believes that the woman he loves wouldn't accept him if she knew. He left her without saying where he was going or why. Now he expects her to accept him in her life again after being gone for two years. Will she let her pride stand in the way of her love for this man?
The third story is called Sweet Enchantment. It's a tale about love long denied out of fear and hope for both of their futures. Bella has loved Ronan for so long she aches with all of her love yet he still rejects her. Ronan has a terrible secret and fears it's release. Will they let their love fade away?
Last story is called A Christmas Kiss. All Jessica wants is to be left alone and have true freedom but that will never happen because she's branded a traitor. She also is pining away for Hawke yet will not have him either. Hawke has been in love with Jessica from the first moment he met her. He knows thst she's his mate and nothing/no one will stand in his way of making her his mate. Hawke knows that Jessica is upset/angry with him for not being with her for the last year but he had good reason. Will Jessica see the truth? Your answers await you in Hot for the Holidays.
I loved what each other did with their characters and world building skills. I think I'll be checking out all of these author's other works out. More books for growing reading list.
