Meet the Author

Dean Peters grew up the nerdy artistic son of an NFL football player/coach, and a mother who dragged him off to watch horror movies. As an avid reader of comic books and Mad Magazine®, Dean was lost to the world of fantasy when Star Wars® hit the big screen in the late 70's.

Raised in a nontraditional environment, Dean saw the power and versatility of illustrating on the computer. With a career in the graphic arts, he was primed and ready to take advantage of digital readers. When the Nookcolor™ came out, he now had a medium for showcasing his art... and his love of fantasy.
