Miki Aihara is the author/creator of several popular sh?jo manga including SEITEN TAISEI, SO BAD!, SORA NI TAIY? GA ARUKAGIRI, and TOKYO SH?NEN SH?JO. HOT GIMMICK is her most recent title and is currently running in the sh?jo anthology Betsucomi, which is published by Shogakukan. Although not a Tokyo native, she currently resides in the Setagaya ward, where most of HOT GIMMICK takes place.

    Hot Gimmick 12

    This book is the last book of all the series. Hatsumi loves both Ryoki and Shinogu, but its time that she lets go one of them. She lets go of Shinogu, but he promised to be by her side and always be her brother, even though he sent in the ammulment forms. Later on, Ryoki asks Hatsumi to marry him and, theres no obligation there. They finally get to 'do it' with of course Hatsumi's 'okay'. Very good book.

    The BEST manga ends here!

    The BEST manga for a reader to enjoy! I expected more from the manga(extended versions of the outcome!!!!)overall an excellent manga!Now the readers wait for'The Prince's Gilfriend'!!!!! :P

    Pretty Good

    Hot Gimmick vol.12 was ok but I expected more...a lot more from it because of the other volumes but it could've been better still I loved the series and can't wait for 'Hot Gimmick S' thats coming out next year in February.

    To All Good Things There Is An End...

    BOOHOOOOO...I am so sad...Hot gimmick ends with this volume and believe me...it is GOOOOOD,well I am NOT going to reveal the plot here but...SIGH...it is just as it should be and even more.Miki Aihara has managed to enrapture us all in a great story even though it is quite simple...It is the way she conveys the emotions through these incredible drawings of hers...To me,she is the BEST!!!Man do I LOVE Hot Gimmick,it is just killing me to see it end but there it is =____=Anyways,the short story at the end is sooooo cute,it's to die for and it makes me antsy-pantsy for her next story(provided VIZ gets a hold of it of course) which is called OUJISAMA NO KANOJO translation:The Prince's Girlfriend...Well,we shall see what happens,until then, Adios!!!
