    Sweet, Hot Erotic Romance

Former country girl, Jenna McCabe is an intelligent, professional businesswoman, having built a successful public relations and marketing company from scratch with very little capitol. Jenna is a "force to be reckoned with in business". However, the "business of being a woman had never come easily", therefore her longtime friend and confidant Bryce Ryder has never felt a sexual attraction to her. Jenna however, has been in love with the handsome, popular Bryce since age 17 and has waited for years for him to see her as a love interest.

Bryce is a very successful gifted chef with his own restaurant and television show "Heating It Up". While he comes from a wealthy family, he has made his own fortune providing culinary excellence to his patrons. When he makes an inappropriate comment concerning women, which is reported and embellished in "Celebrity Gossip" magazine his career is put in jeopardy. Bryce then calls on Jenna to develop a public relations plan that will put him back in good stead with his patrons and viewers.

This presents the perfect opportunity for Jenna to finally encourage Bryce to see her as not just a friend, but as a desirable sexy woman. She is fully aware however that Bryce has never thought of her that way. In fact, he is a known womanizer with a new slim beautiful woman on his arm every night of the week.

Bryce is a man scorned following his ex-live in girlfriend "Chrissy", using him for money and nearly bankrupting him in the process. Jenna was there all through his tough time and, in fact was instrumental in negotiating a "Chrissy" pay off. Needless to say, Bryce is cynical where women are concerned. His whole focus is his career and restaurant.

As the story opens Bryce is hosting Jenna at his restaurant to review her damage control plan. He has always viewed her as his close friend and confidant, a 'girl next door' type hailing from their small rural town. However, suddenly over the intimacy of delectable food and business conversation, Bryce begins to have overwhelmingly hot sexual fantasies concerning Jenna. He doesn't understand why, she isn't his 'type' after all, but with every mouthful of culinary sweetness entering Jenna's luscious mouth he feels an undeniable sexual attraction to her. Their new very intimate sexual relationship blossoms following that meeting when Bryce unexpectedly turns up at her apartment.

There is a scintillating parallel between mouthwatering culinary delights and sex in this novel that IMHO enhances the erotic scenes. In addition, through Ms. Renwick's lovely erotic prose, I could feel Bryce's love for Jenna deepen during their emotional intimate encounters. This is a hot erotic romance and there are a number of intense sexually explicit scenes in changing settings, which I felt also, enhanced their deepening feelings.

Trey is an internationally acclaimed photographer and is quite accustomed to having beautiful models at his beck and call. He is aloof and sexy as hell, an intriguing character with significant commitment issues. There is a hint of a turbulent family history with respect to the Ryder men, Trey especially, that you will have to learn about through reading the novel.

We only get glimpses of Tyson and Emily in "Hot In Here", however, I'm hoping we will learn more about them if there is a sequel.

Sophie Renwick's tale is very entertaining and fans will rejoice that more Ryder siblings will follow

Celebrity chef Bryce Ryder has known Jenna McCabe forever. The womanizer has never had sexual thoughts about his reticent neighbor, but lately cannot stop from thinking of Jenna. He considers making a move on her, but fears he would not be able to deal with it and does not wish to risk their friendship.-----------

However he reconsiders his belief she is a major introvert when he receives bad publicity and she charges into the fray like a lioness protecting her cub. He likes this side of Jenna and soon begins teaching her tricks in the kitchen and just about every other room as a reluctant Jenna no longer conceals her cravings for him though she fears he will turn her heart into burnt toast.-------------------

The kitchen is heated, but not as hot as the lead couple, whose partnering makes for a terrific contemporary romance. Each of the protagonists comes into their changing relationship with doubts because both fervently want the passion and much more but fear the risk of ending their friendship; thus Jenna and Bryce weigh the opportunity cost of following up on falling in love. Sophie Renwick's tale is very entertaining and fans will rejoice that more Ryder siblings will follow.-------------

    I Also Recommend:

    Hot In Here

As legendary in the kitchen as he is in the bedroom, Bryce Ryder is every woman's dream. Far and wide, young and old, ladies tune in to watch the sexy chef whip up the most delectable platters on a daily basis. After all, what woman wouldn't want to watch some hunk telling them that food is their friend?

But after a recent news article pins him as anything but Mr. Wonderful, Bryce finds himself in some seriously hot water. With his reputation, restaurant and future business deals at stake, he needs to find a way to fix this catastrophe before he loses everything he's worked so hard to accomplish.

As far as Bryce is concerned there is only one person with the ability to turn this disaster around, and that is his ever dependable childhood friend, Jenna McCabe.

It was supposed to be a meeting to discuss a way out of Bryce's recent predicament, but unfortunately for Jenna, business isn't the only thing on her mind.

For ten years, Jenna has been pining after Bryce. Secretly wishing and wanting for something she knew she would never have. After all, Bryce is way out of her league. Gorgeous, wealthy and forever carting around with him some rail thin model who he happens to be sleeping with.

How could an average country girl compete with that?

Careful planning and strategic execution, that's how. But, if you take a man on the verge of crisis and toss in a few scheming siblings, soon enough Jenna finds her plans moving full speed ahead. And before she knows it, Jenna's got Bryce right where she's always wanted him. In her bed.

But, as the afterglows begin to fade, Jenna realizes it may have been the biggest mistake of her life. After seeing him suffer through a terrible breakup, Jenna knew Bryce was far from ready for commitment. And Jenna was not prepared to see her heart broken.

For Bryce, Jenna had always held a special place in his heart. Sweet, caring, funny and most of all--real. She had always been the one person Bryce could be himself around. After spending the most passionate night of his life within her arms, he finds himself needing Jenna with a desperation he never knew possible. But instead of waking to find her beside him, he quickly realizes he was on the bad end of a...one night stand?

Confused and with his emotions in an uproar, Bryce concludes he's not about to let her get away that easy.

His persistence pays off. Jenna finally caves in, but she insists that they keep things simple. No emotional attachments. Any man in his right mind would be counting his lucky stars to be offered such a deal. Especially a man like Bryce, who at the moment didn't need any more drama presenting itself.

But soon it becomes apparent what Jenna is offering simply was not enough, and Bryce finds himself willing to do whatever it takes to break through Jenna's defenses and win the love of the woman who has undeniably stolen his heart.

Sophie Renwick/Charlotte Featherstone writes some of BEST dialogue and emotionally packed scenes I've read, and she did not disappoint with Hot In Here. This was a wonderful, sexy read and one that is sure to satisfy your hunger for romance.

Must read if you like hot steamy romance novels

The book more than lives up the title,it was extermly HOT. If you enjoy reading strong character building that includes steamy romance this is the book for you. I've read this one often and was disappointed like other reviews that the author didn't have a sequel for the relationship between the other sister and brother. I would have purchased it immediately after reading this one. Hope the author doesn't forget about us and delivers the next book soon!!

    Erotica for foodies...Love It!

    My Review:
Bryce is a celebrity chef whose reputation is going down the tubes after a magazine mis-quotes him. Jenna is the owner of a PR firm. They have grown up together and been best friends forever, so it's a natural conclusion for Bryce to hire Jenna to re-work his image. But when they meet for dinner to discuss options, Bryce quickly finds himself distracted by this sexy, confident, collected business woman who he has never seen as anything more than his best friend. Now, he is imagining all sorts of things that definitely fall beyond the bounds of friendship.

Jenna has been in love with Bryce forever, but ever since a horrible relationship 4 years ago, Bryce believes only in flings. He never plans to get seriously involved again and Jenna is fully aware of this, and with his playboy reputation, she is trying to keep her heart from getting shredded. She sees his interest and while she is suspicious, she knows that there is no way that she will keep his interest if she acts like she is looking for a committed relationship, so she adopts his playboy attitude.

Overall this was really a great book. I enjoyed Bryce and Jenna's relationship and their reversal of rolls as it began and developed. First and foremost, these two are friends (you know I love the friends-to-lovers trope) but the reality of the new status of their relationship has them both second-guessing each other and themselves over and over again. While the conflict of that lasted a little bit too long for my taste and believability, I really did enjoy the two of them together and yes, this is erotica and they have some serious chemistry!!

The story travels from the city in the US, to Italy, to farm country in the US so there is a wonderful variety of background scenery to the story. Bryce is also a chef so plenty of fantasy here for foodies! Lots of foreplay and sex involving wonderfully naughty foods. There are also some great family sub-plots and stories involving both Bryce's and Jenna's families. I know that when this book came out that there were supposed to be follow-up books involving Bryce's brothers. Although this book came out 2 years ago, I hope those are still in the works somewhere because I would love to read more about these families, especially Trey and Sarah's sto

    So Romantic!

Once the main male character knew he wanted a committed relationship, he stayed his course. Shared his feelings and apologized when he hurt his love. This was a nice story of love blossoming and maturing as time goes a long.

    This book is HOT!!!

I didnt put this down from the time I started it....I loved it. Lots of smoking hot scenes. Love the characters and the romance. My only disappointment was that I was sure I was going to see a follow up novel starring the main characters siblings...and I didnt. Hopefully there is another book coming from Sophie and we'll hear about more romance between Bryce and Jennas brother and sister!! Highly recommend!!!
