Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
Australian sex expert Tracey Cox's guide to relationships is funny, explicit, sensible, and international. (it's heartening to learn that Aussies are bad flirters, too.) Hot Relationships reveals the secrets of meeting that special someone; tips on good kissing, cheating hearts and wandering hands; breakups, rebound romances, dating nervousness, that first argument, and what to do when those very private moments become a bit too predictable. Good-natured and respectably raunchy.
From the Publisher
Tracey Cox is a well-known sex and relationships expert.

She has a degree in psychology and is the agony aunt for Cosmopolitan (Australia). She hosted her own radio show in Australia before moving to London. She now hosts her own TV show based on her first book, Hot Sex: How to Do It. Hot Sex became an instant international bestseller and is also published by Bantam.

Library Journal
Cox, an Australian sex and relationships journalist and the author of Hot Sex (LJ 4/15/99), targets all stages of every erotosexual relationship: looking for a partner, dating, living together, and being married-with-kids, whether heterosexual, lesbian/ gay, young, or older. Surprisingly, she succeed reasonably well, delivering supportive and commonsense advice about finding a partner; dealing with disagreements; avoiding "love landmines," jealousy, and infidelity; recognizing bad choices in partners; and dealing with breakups. Her "twenty- to thirtysomething" writing style may put off some older or more conservative readers: in Cox's world, nearly everyone is into parties, nightlife, alcohol, and casual sex and becomes emotionally devastated and histrionic when dealing with infidelity and breakups. Despite the limited appeal of the style--and the misleadingly oversexy title--the book's advice does hold up well for a broad readership. The main flaw is the lack of a list of recommended readings and resources. For larger public libraries, especially those with collections targeted to the earlier decades of adulthood.--Martha Cornog, Philadelphia Copyright 2000 Cahners Business Information.\

Every controversy that can arise was brought up in this book.
