Hot Rocks is a rerelease of the first part of Remember When. If you don't read JD Robb then definitely by this book. If you do, it is the first half of Remember When that takes place in the present, while the 2nd half takes place in the 2050's with Lieutenant Eve Dallas. I'm surprised that this little fact was not mentioned.

NR has written so many that the Penguin Group, in an effort to help fans keep track of new books and reprints, places a gold medallion emblazoned with "NR" and the words "Never before published" on the covers of her paperback originals.

This is the first half of the previously released book "Remember When". If you like Nora Roberts buy "Remember When" and get this story and "Big Jack" which is the other half and has also been rereleased. I love Nora Roberts and JD Robb but I hate when books are rereleased without notice. No one wants to rebuy a book, even if you might reread it.

I purchase most of my books on-line or download them for my e-reader. I'm so frustrated with publishers who re-release a book under a new title and do not mention that in the product description. I downloaded Hot Rocks to my e-reader and after reading the first couple of chapters, realized it sounded familiar. It was a fun read the first time, but I wouldn't have purchased it if I'd known it was a re-release. Publishers need to start adding a "Previously Published As ________ with a date.

I didn't realize this was a segment re-released from another book until I read some of the other reviews. But I did enjoy this story and found the romantic elements very hot. Since Ms. Roberts did a great job of keeping me titillated on several levels, I will be reading more of her books.

I loved this book when it was released the first time as the second part of a book, "Remember When". I purchased this without knowing it was not a new book, and was upset that it wasn't stated clearly in the description. At the time there were no reviews to tell me this information.
