Meet the Author

Peter Schletty has been an editor in the Twin Cities area since 2002, formerly at Motorbooks and currently at Hazelden Publishing. He lives in St. Paul, Minnesota. Melinda Keefe is a Motorbooks editor who has contributed to various titles, covering subjects from hot rodding to muscle cars to motorsports. Her work with Motorbooks has inspired an interest in cars and car people that was unexpected but has been surprisingly satisfying. She lives in New Brighton, Minnesota.

In such varied subjects as cooking, farming, travel, gardening, and quilting, Melinda Keefe has contributed to numerous titles for Voyageur Press, including The Bay Area Homegrown Cookbook, The Quilters Hall of Fame, and Christmas on the Farm. Her anthologies include Life Is a Highway, Hot Rod Reader, and Barnyard Confidential, and she continues to serve as editor for a wide selection of upcoming books.
