Meet the Author

Lora Leigh

Lora Leigh is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Breed series, including Rule Breaker, Lawe's Justice, and Stygian's Honor. She dreams in bright, vivid images of the characters intent on taking over her writing life, and fights a constant battle to put them on the hard drive of her computer before they can disappear as fast as they appeared.

Lora’s family and her writing life coexist, if not in harmony, in relative peace with each other. Surrounded by a menagerie of pets, friends, and a teenage son who keeps her quick wit engaged, Lora finds her life filled with joys, aided by her fans whose hearts remind her daily why she writes.

    slightly disappointed

Has potential, but toooo short! Only 80 pages on Nook!! I got a little bored w/Lyra. With the preceding breed stories, the women were strong. This story was mostly some arguing and steamy scenes. I hope the next in the series is better.

These four graphic erotic romantic fantasies are terrific novellas

Having no sexual experience in spite of her marriage, she wants Iyan and he wants her. However, he is an indentured servant trying to get his mother free from a wrongful conviction and she is a foreign aristocrat so nothing can come of this desire........................... 'The Breed Next Door¿ by Lora Leigh. In Fayetteville, Arkansas, Tarek is a Breed created to kill he understands his inferiority to the natural born, but wants his neighbor Lyra anyway. He stops a professional from killing her and declares he will keep this woman safe though it means forfeiting his life for neglecting the undercover assignment he is performing.................. ¿Falling for Anthony¿ by Meljean Brook. In 1811 Anthony goes to the Peninsular as a surgeon because his medical school sponsor demands this of him. Before he leaves his best friend¿s sister Emily seduces him. In Spain, a vampire assaults him but tastes the Sword of Norbridge ¿etched¿ on Anthony¿s soul. Anthony must return to England to keep his friend and his beloved safe, but he died in Spain.................... ¿The Blood Kiss¿ by Shiloh Walker. The werewolf sneaks into his adversary¿s estate planning to rescue his sibling only to be thrown for a loss when he meets the natural born daughter of vampire Lord Eduard, Julianna as he knows she is his pack mate............ These four graphic erotic romantic fantasies are terrific novellas that sub-genre fans will appreciate yet wonder how heated each tale could have been as full length novels.................... Nice but too short!

This was a fun story but it was again one of her very fast reads. If your looking to read the whole series it's worth it, but if you want a larger book it's not. I like to my books to last longer than a magazine!!

One of the better books of the series

Because this is a short story, this a more balanced tale with appropriate character development and plot. These characters actually stay consistent and true to their personalities through out the story unlik a lot of other books in the series.

Check out this Lora Leigh book

If you are a Lora Leigh fan and enjoy her Breeds Series, then this book is just for you. Although the book is shorter in length than most of her other stories, it holds all of the characteristics that are a hallmark of Leigh's Breeds Series. A good read.

    Check it out!

the only reason i purchased this book was because its an addition to one of the breed series of lora leigh's books. over all, i enjoyed reading the other others and was captured to their different writing styles, but my favorite will be lora leigh's section of the book! THIS SURE IS AN ENTERTAINING READ! ;-D.

    I Also Recommend:

    Good Quick read.

Although I bought the book for Lora Leigh "Breed" novelette, I enjoyed the other authors, except Emma Holly, too slow.

    really liked it

i really liked the first two stories but the third is not my type of story. i couldn't get into it then it just grossed me out. the lady lost all of her family and i couldn't feel anything for her i felt more pity for her "sick brother". I recommend this book for the first two authors Emma Holly and Lora Leigh. Here is how i recommend you read this book: first read 'falling for anthony', if you can i just skipped it; next 'the blood kiss'; then 'the countess's pleasure'; finally 'the breed next door'. i like to save the best for last. happy reading.
