    I do not advise that you purchase this book

    This book really does not provide you with any how-to strategies about the stock market. It's just a general review of some (seemingly random) stock market strategies thrown together so that the author could carve another notch into his totem pole of 35 other trading and investment books on the market. The writing is exceptionally poor and the book is not well thought out. Once you wade through pages of Bernstein talking up his book you finally get to the stock strategies, but you quickly discover he doesn't tell you how to apply them.
