Meet the Author

Patricia comes from small town America where people still believe in true love. In a house filled with family, friends and pets, she sometimes laments the lack of time just to sit down and write, though surrounded by those she loves, she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Patricia falls in love with the heroes she writes about each and every time she puts their lives down on paper. She loves sexy men and hates her villains more than the reader does. It helps to hate the bad guys. It makes the story so much richer. She realized a very long time ago that the world is filled with people who live diverse and amazing lifestyles and she tries to capture the beauty of such diversity in her writing.

Patricia has had a diverse career life. She’s been a jeweler, an AIDS hospice nurse and a “dreaded” mortgage broker. She hopes that the various walks of life she’s taken come out in her work. A busy mother of four and a “stage mom” for her youngest, she always seems to be in motion.

Come join Patricia Logan on her Face Book page or blog at http://naughtypassions.blogspot.com/ or write to her at patricialogan.. She’d love to hear from you and will respond to all emails.

Having seen Cade and Jake in several other of Patricia's books, I was excited to get to this short story, a bit of back story that I'd read mentions of. I appreciated the several layers of story in "Hot Summer Hogs." While I knew much of it from my dominant's own interest in motorcycles, I loved reading the bits about biker culture. I enjoyed the additional details about parts of biker culture that GLBT people have made for themselves. Importantly as with any of Patricia's adult writing, she gives page upon page of hot sex with gorgeous romance. When Zachary Teak made his appearance in the story, the heat level flew through the roof for me. His challenge for Cade, which Jake happily takes, made this a page turner for me.

    Excellent Read

This book was a wonderful peak inside the old and fast affair between Cade Littlebear and Zack Teak. They are two of my favorite characters of Patricia's and along with Cade's husband Jake this made for a lovable and very steamy read. I can't get enough of Patricia's books. She is an excellent writer and the QUEEN of BDSM M/M romances! Well done!
