This was a light and fun tale. It was fun to see to two people who had challenges from their past find love and overcome their reservations. Prescott was such a man of honor yet was so tolerant of others. Personally, I loved to see Opal get a HEA for herself. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Prescott Mackay is a retired gunslinger who is now trying to live out his days doing God¿s work as a small town¿s preacher. When Isis Garrett came in to town with a bunch of other women looking for husbands Preacher Mackay is instantly attracted to the mysterious beauty. Unfortunately Isis has not had the best of luck with men and is not interested in a husband, even if this particular man tempts her more than any man she had ever met.
These characters had real depth and I liked the relationship between Preacher and Isis. They were perfect for each other and you could feel the chemistry between the two practically leaping of the pages. I only wish that it was longer so I could get lost in their world longer.
See how the West was sexy in ¿Hot Under the Collar¿ by Jane Leopold Quinn.
