Overview

There’s more to summer than just hot weather.

Fresh out of college and new to the working world, John faces reality—spending the rest of his life stuck behind a desk instead of having fun in the sun with his friends. His boss is on his back, his car is breaking down, and the oppressive heat is broiling him alive. There’s no end in sight to his misery.

Tall, slender, green-eyed Keith runs the lunch shift at the local diner, an air-conditioned oasis away from what John’s life has become. Keith’s cheerful personality, constant smile and unbearably sexy body help to remind John that summer is what he makes of it. And with Keith’s cooperation, John plans on making this his best summer yet.

Meet the Author

Born in Pennsylvania, I’ve written fiction for as long as I can remember. I’ve been writing gay erotica since high school. While attending college in Maryland, I decided to stop hoarding my work and share it with the world; my first website was born. Years later, after a lifetime of writing for pleasure, I finally decided to write professionally.

I love to create new characters. As I write, it’s a surprise for me to discover what each new person sounds like, what makes him laugh, and what types of things turn him on. It’s fun to create interesting people and then give them a world to play in.

To read some of the stories I’ve written for fun, please visit www.matthewhaldemantime.com. From there, you can also get to my LiveJournal account, my MySpace page, my Yahoo! Group, and anywhere else you’d like to go in the wonderful world of Matthew.

This short book was great. I loved how the author had a theme that he stuck with which is hard to find in a lot of long novels that are published these days. This book is about a man who realizes that life isn't the same as it used to be. It's about the man's (John's) search for why his summer isn't the way his summers used to be. In the process he finds an intriguing young man who may be able to help him find what's missing. This was a great book and definitely worth the low price.
