Overview

When you land in hot water, swim for safety—or let the fire burn.

An Out of Uniform Story

Claire McKinley has just experienced every bride’s nightmare. The groom is a no-show, and now she must face five hundred guests alone. Furious and humiliated, Claire seeks help from the most unlikely candidate—her almost-brother-in-law, who promptly whisks her away to his apartment in San Diego, where she can recover her pride in peace and quiet.

Dylan Wade is no fan of Claire’s, but no way can he leave the jilted bride in her time of need. Bringing her home seems like a good idea—until he remembers his new roommate. Dylan’s relationship with Aidan is…complicated. And with Claire thrown into the mix, life becomes even more…complicated.

Claire is blindsided by her attraction not only to Dylan, but also to Aidan, a man she’s just met. Soon they’re caught up in an all-consuming sexual storm they can’t fight even if they wanted to. Yet Claire wonders if it can last, or if she’s just setting herself up for more heartache.

Warning: This book is very dirty. Ménage a trois and man-on-man dirty. Graphic-language and explicit-sex dirty. Basically? Dirty. You’ve been warned.

Publishers Weekly
The title says it all! Kennedy’s ninth Out of Uniform installment (after Getting Hotter), which works perfectly well as a stand-alone story, is an erotically charged tale of an unconventional happily-ever-after. After Chris Wade dumps Claire McKinley at the altar, Claire is doubly shocked when Chris’s brother, Dylan, a “cocky, antagonistic” Navy SEAL, kindly offers to sneak her out of the wedding venue and put her up at his apartment. Dylan and his roommate, Aidan Rhodes, have a comfortable best-friends-with-benefits relationship, and they’re happiest with a woman as “the filling in a Dylan-and-Aidan sandwich.” Though at first they adopt a hands-off policy with Claire, she can’t help overhearing their passionate lovemaking, which inspires her lust for both men. A sizzling ménage results, with astounding sex and caring friendship helping the trio bond in the face of past demons, family secrets, and societal pressures. Good polyamorous relationship-building and bold, intense, yet tasteful sex scenes round out the story. Kennedy fans and newcomers will relish the well-crafted plot, witty dialogue, and engaging characters. Agent: Don Fehr, Trident Media Group. (July)

## Holy crap! Elle Kennedy is freaking brilliant. This book is FABULOUS. I loved it from beginning to end. I absolutely adored the heroine. She is strong, loving and just plain awesome. And these two heroes? Let me pick my tongue up off the floor so I can tell you how HOT these men are. The three main characters have a tremendous connection. I've read a lot of menage stories and my biggest complaint is that the woman always seems to be insignificant or superfluous. Not so here! All three were vital to the relationship and making that clear to the reader takes a special talent for sure. I highly recommend this entire 'Out of Uniform' series, but especially this book (700 pgs). Well done Ms. Kennedy.

This whole series is just plain awesome.....I have been waiting, not patiently, for Dylan's story for months. Oh my!!! Sooooo worth the wait! Ms. Kennedy's writing style is both an absolute delight as well ad scorching hot. One minute you are laughing wishing you could just hang out with these people for a little while, the next you are in need of a cold shower, really wishing these men were real, and available, and living next door....you get the idea.....

Very hot story of an unconventional relationship. Approximately 248 pages on my 10.1 nook tablet if you count cover, table of contents, sneak peak of an upcoming book etc. Other reviewers have given detailed summer is and reviews so to sum up it is very good. A tale of a threesome and the fallout. There is a happy ending. This is a complete book in a series of complete books. I have not read any other books in the series and I was not lost or anything like that. If you enjoy menage stories you will like this one.

I bought this book because, like Claire (the redhead on the cover), I was curious about "how that worked". And yes, there are descriptions of sexual acts that answered that question. But that's not what this book is about. Mainly it's about taking the risk of opening yourself up emotionally to allow yourself to love, and thus making yourself a better and more complete person. There's also important food for thought here, perhaps some lessons to inspire the reader to grow. It is so very easy to accept the black and white rules of this is right, that is wrong. When we apply those rules to people and situations where we only have superficial information and condemn others, we make ourselves and the world smaller. Because every time we do something that diminishes any person's ability to love and become that better and more complete person, we destroy some of the potential for good in the world.

Really liked this book. Was alot different than the books i normally read. Dont like reading guy on guy books but with a women in the mix it was an ok read. Lots and lots of hot steamy sex in this book. I think a real relationship with two guys and a girl would never work out in the end. But then again this is a book and not real life. Liked Cash and Jenns story the best.

Contemporary menge are tricky to pull off. I always have trouble believing in the happily ever after with so many cultural barriers. I love  poly relationships in paranormal, fantasy, and urban fantasy because the culture allows for it for a least one of the members. I also tend to  not like the time the partners have to spend coming to terms with their "strange' feelings  and dealing with the various social reactions.  However, this book does a nice job with all of that. The heroine and heros are engaging and the story and erotica here is well done.  I would  recommend this book if someone want to read a good menge erotica.
