Overview

She’s sinfully sweet. And he has a taste for sin…

A Pecan Creek Story

Monet Goody is keeping the spiciest secret in town. When the proper daughter of the town sheriff isn’t working at her tame librarian job, she writes a sex advice blog under the name “Allure Crimson”.

There’s something about the Harley-riding new guy in town, Elijah Stone, that makes her want to let her flirtatious alter ego out to play. But there’s something else about the bad boy that seems too good to be true.

Elijah is finding his latest undercover job almost too easy. Too easy to keep his eyes on the woman he’s been secretly hired to protect from a stalker. Too easy to discover what she does during her off hours. And too easy to succumb to her sweet seduction.

But when the job is done, Elijah finds it’s not as easy as he thought it’d be to put the Harley in gear and hit the road.

Warning: Contains a motorcycle bad boy with a bad case of wanderlust. And a secretly lusty good girl who might just get him to put his kickstand down for good.

A nice setup for a funny, sexy contemporary romantic suspense...

A nice setup for a funny, sexy contemporary romantic suspense...that fizzles like a wet sparkler on the Fourth of July. I would almost suspect the first part was written for a workshop or class assignment, with lots of input from better writers. Sadly, the author was left on her own to finish it, and she forgot that plot means SOMETHING HAPPENS.

    Nah...

Disappointed in this one. May have been good as a full length novel, but 90 pages is not long enough to tell a complete story. The beginning was ok, then the crisis is cleared up in two paragraphs midway through, then...... ? I kept thinking there would be more to the story since I still had 100 pages left to read, but nope, the story just ends, then you read intros to other books. Wouldn't recommend this one.

    Couldn't get into it

The whole story felt rushed and immature. The story had potential but the author was all over the place. I didn't even finish reading and that is rare for me.

    No ending! Digusted!

I doubt I will ever purchase any books written by this author. The story suddenly ends without a plot ever being completed and brought to fruitation. Disappointing barely describes this work. It had great potential. I sincerely hope Ms. Leonard reads reviews and somehow makes up to her Nook readers.

Starts out mediocre and falls flat.

Unless you are really REALLY bored, I don't recommend it. At all. Doesn't seem too bad, stays ok, then leaves you scratching your head going um, seriously?
